How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? A friend of mine watched your trailer and suggested that I join your server.

What is roleplaying?: Acting out with a particular role.

What is metagaming?: Is the action of using Out of Character information or information otherwise impossible for one's character to know in a Role Play setting; Often times creating an unfair advantage over others.

What is powergaming?: Basically overpowering every player which in my point of view, it's being "OP". It is often a selfish play style that unfairly limits other peoples Role Play through poor roleplay that puts your own character on a pedestal above all others.

Character’s name: Caroline Mari'ael

Character’s race: Elf

Character’s age: 19

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): 

 

Caroline Mari'ael was born in the lands of Anthos some time after the exodus from Asulon following the great flooding which caused the races of the world to abandon their homelands in search for a new, safe place to reestablish their nations. Her Mother and Father had only two children, a miracle in a sense considering how difficult it is for Elves to have children in the first place. She grew up with her family among the Wood Elves, prior to the eventual unification of the Elven races, but unfortunately her personality made it difficult for her to make long lasting friends that she could trust. Her Father had always emphasized the importance of family, of which Caroline had only her two parents and her beloved sister, so she gravitated towards her. Her sister was in a sense her opposite; She was out going, load and commanding. While Caroline tended to be more quiet, shy and tactful.

 

She lived in relative peace for many decades, honing skills she found interesting and relevant to an Elf. She eventually blossomed into a skilled bowmen and even considered joining the Elven guard force where her skills would have been put to good use. On the side she practiced potion making alongside a locally famous Dark Elf that took her on as his apprentice. However, her peaceful life did not last as international relations grew tense with each passing year and the threats of evil that permeated on all edges of the world marched inland. The world was once more tossed on its back- the races of the world were forced out of their homes and into the great unknown in search of a new land to inhabit. After the fall of Anthos and in the chaos of impending doom, Caroline lost her parents. She did not know what happened to them, just that they had vanished some time after the migration to Athera. It was only her and her sister, left alone to brave the struggles of a world that grew more hostile day by day.

 

For the era of Athera, Caroline and her sister were shipped along with the rest of the Elven people. New regime after new regime dominated her life. Humans, High Elves, Wood Elves; A new King, new masters new oppressors. The years went by like a blur, emotionally numbing Caroline into a status of lethargy. At some point, her sister also disappeared prompting Caroline to abruptly snap out of her numbed stupor and descend into a fit of frantic terror and worry. She had lost track of herself for decades, a blink of the eye to her Elven longevity. And when she had awoken she barely recognized that she was no longer even in Athera. Her world came crashing down around her, leading her to do the unthinkable. She dragged herself to an unnamed coastline and hurled herself off of a cliff, hoping to feel the sweet embrace of death at the hands of the violent ocean below.

 

"I woke up on a shore, cant remember a damn thing.. i remember two things though.. my sister.. I don't remember what she looks like or where we lived before. I remember... before i blacked out..these people.. they wanted to help me..I was told not to trust anyone but my sister, so I ran. i came to a cliff.. water down below, the clouds were dark.. the waves looked like a swarm of monsters ready to drown anything in their path. I was cornered, there was only one option, to jump. I was falling..then,, nothing. I decided to start an exploration of this new land.. i quickly came across two pathways, both going towards different kingdoms i um am, not a good reader without my reading glasses.. so i just went with my instincts and took the right path."

 

Personality Traits: She is kind, wise, smart and brave but her personality often time causes her to hide those facts. Most of the time she can be quite quiet and her poor social skills leave her seeming awkward. She is not one for direct confrontation and is timid when subjected to unfamiliar things.

Ambitions: To reconnect with her surviving family, come out of her shell and explore the world she now finds herself in.

Strengths/Talents: Speed-agile, bows-potions

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Swords -hand to hand combat- mining - She currently suffers from a sort of short term memory loss coupled with the fact that she does not remember most of her past minus a few select things. Her poor social skills also prevent her from getting the things she needs that she cannot provide for herself as well as prevents her from being able to forming any lasting relationships. She is also passive/non-assertive which disadvantages her against competitive ventures.
