--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a notice to citizens of the Ancillary of Ker’nor and beyond as to the actions of the Warhawk Elder Cole Cuthalion, and the charges brought against him.

The aforementioned citizen of the Ancillary of Ker’nor is, until proper punishment, in violation of section 2, subsection 3 of The Onyx Law of the Ancillary of Ker’nor through means of both slandering and defaming the name of Arbiter Dak’ir Des’Nox. The citizen is to further be punished for the threatening of Lielle Des’Nox’s life within Ancillary lands.

For the crime of Defamation of name, Slander, and conspiring to circumvent procedures of High Profile Conflict, the Elder Cuthalion is to be relieved of his slanderous tongue and treacherous arm by a qualifying member of the Archonic Force of the Ancillary of Ker’nor upon order of Arzota Des’Nox. If the individual in question wishes to dispute any claims, or charges placed against him, he will be allotted an audiance in two elven days(31st of July) to appear before the Council of the Ancillary to plead his case.

To address Elder Cuthalion’s Warhawk brethren, the Ancillary urges you to see that justice be carried out for the betterment of the Mali’ker as a whole.

Let your elder serve as an example to future generations of ‘ker.

If the Elder Cuthalion is not to appear in two elven days of this notice’s posting, he is to be considered an enemy of the state with all honor stripped of his name, no better than mori nor mutant.

-Lord of Law, Arzota Des’Nox

Dak'ir overlooks the city stoically from the roof of the keep, his hands behind his back as his tired eyes scan the streets. Glancing over his shoulder to his son and advisors.

"If the old fool thinks that showing mercy to a loud mouthed dwarf is a sign of weakness then I look forward seeing his face as tongue is removed from his head for his treacherous words."

He turns his head back to his people's city, adjusting a gauntlet.

"The tainted elder of the Warhawkes will have his due. Someone who makes such threats to my family and theatrical claims as believing we should go to war with Oren or calling his own people 'dark skins' like the those that hunt us simply for existing, will be faced within accordance of the law."

Goroth doesn't seem too pleased as he reads the notice, shuddering as he reads the punishment. The dark elf crinkles his nose, speaking aloud.

"How uncivilised."

Constantine sits at his desk, staring at an alembic. He taps it a few times with his left gauntlet, watching a drop of liquid slide down the tube. His contemplation is interrupted by a knock on the door. Pushing the alembic to the left side of his desk, he sighs and stands up. He opens the door, taking the letter offered to him by the young squire behind it. Closing the door with his left hand as he opens the letter with his right, he turns back to his desk to sit down once more. After a few minutes of reading, he folds the letter up once more and slides it into the shelf on the right side of his desk. He grunts, standing up and fiddling with his right gauntlet. "Alet!" he calls, opening the door to his study, "Fetch my sword!"

"Dismiss slander, build confidence. Let this man keep his tongue and arm, and give him a trial instead."

Thea thinks to herself. "In doing this, these men and women are no better than the savages they claim us to be."

"He was the one who threatened Tuiru, who was the mali'i who had volunteered to build most of our city, by saying that he wished the White Rose would return to kill her. Although, she may be slightly annoying, but that doesn't give him the right to wish her to die."

"Oh please, Uuthlini, if I had a copper for every time I was told to die then I'd be rich.. er. But I've never let that get to me, and I'm doing fine!"

Alakagh chuckles a bit when he heard the comment from Mithius.

Cole thought it was funny when Alakagh claimed the Warhawkes have no enemies within the walls... Yet this notice begs to differ.

Cole would quickly write a note in reply to the notice the notice he has received from a fellow Warhawke. He would finish writing the note and tie it to the claw of a hawk just outside of the cave. Cole would click his tongue and the hawk would fly off towards the keep and up towards Dak'ir's room, dropping the note near his door step, addressed to him.

"To the Arbiter,

After trying to reach you through letters, it has come to my attention that you wish nothing more than to label me a coward that hides within the cave. I wish to make it very clear to you, Arbiter, that the only coward here is yourself. You have a worthless transcriber that seems to change family lines more than once in his life time. Arzota is nothing more than a leach and a liar. He is not a Des'nox and will never be of blood to you. You hide behind parchment and have your leach do your dirty work for you. I will wait for you day and night. I will continue to send my hawk in search of you. I'll be waiting at your keep for as long as needed until you decide to come. If I am not there, then I shall be resting. You say I should be used as an example for future Mali'ker. But so long as you are leading your failing nation and hide behind your transcriber, there will never be another Mali'ker. Merely dark skins whom think sharp tongues are not met with a swift and equally sharp blade. I will wait for two elven days and continue to look for you. After that, it will be you whom will have to come to me. I will not chase after a coward whom will not show his face. I hope you fear me and my people. We are not one to lay down on our backs.

Sincerely,
Cole, Elder Warhawke.

P.S. I did not threaten your wife. If you think saying death is a plague that'll never leave is a threat, then I feel sorry for you."

Later that day, a bird would arrive drop a small scroll outside the Warhawke den.

"The the tainted elder of the Warhawke,

To address your concerns of not reaching me, you'll find I've more important things to do than read a letter whilst assisting the Praetor of Laureh’lin during a conflict. As for Arzota, I've adopted him into my clan because of his usefulness and the work and time he puts into assisting his people, while he may not be my blood, I still see him as a brother. Regardless you'll not have to wait much longer. Your trial will take place in the keep tomorrow evening and I encourage your tribe to come and bear witness, seeing as they've yet to bring you forward. If you decide not to arrive, then you and your clan will be exiled from the nation."

((6PM est if work doesn't hold me up tomorrow.
