"No you will not, El'Tir Kairn. Both you and the insubordinate Sirame have failed in their duties. Them as soldiers and you as a commander. You will not be passing judgement as you are part of the problem, not the solution. The issue has ascended to the el'Annil and the Praetor to deal with both parties."

"Do you truly not understand how the Order of Sirame works? You have not watched us, yet you claim the right to pass justice. I am no insubordinate, if you cannot even bare to check up on the people who guard your city you'd have known I've ascended in rank to El'Ceru, and that the rank of Chirr exists with Katar, Aenor, and Calius holding the mantle. I was not even involved in this situation, nor have I inflicted any kind of punishment in days for good or ill.

"I recently repromoted Berr to Naeri, and your son was apprenticed to me to take Calius or Aenor's place as Chirr when they retired. Matters of the military are not to be asserted on by you, who makes laws, but by the Praetor and our El'Annil only. Unless they seek to include you, you should not be speaking. You have slung this on my shoulders as if it's somehow my fault, but I've not done anything to earn this and I've had nothing but patience. I wasn't informed by anybody that were was even an issue between the two, which likely started due to Berr's jealousy.

"I am no insubordinate, and I trust in both the Annil and Praetor to deal with this. But I will not allow you to place the blame on me when I have not done anything that you claim I have."

Kairn would respond.

"With all due respect", Alirya interupted the bicker fest,"But a soldier is obliged to follow their superior's orders without question, otherwise they should be punished imeadietly. Now if Tristij disagrees with the order of an officer, than that is between them. Soldier to el...whatever to commander. I should advise that you make the induction process more difficult, clearly the sirame have far too many thin skinned fools amongst them"

Aenor would catch wind of the continuing argument through the unnamed Sirame, and with an idle flick of his wrist, issues the Sirame to lead him to the two bickering Mali. Upon entering, his eyes flick to each gathered before resting on Artimec.

"It would seem that we can never catch a break from the bickering within our own ranks, both in the government and the military. Artimec, you know that I respect you above all others," He would state, before turning his gaze to Kairn "And Kairn, you know I respect you as well, both as a soldier and a son. With that stated, both of you need to cease your constant arguing. I say this as both a friend and a father." Aenor begins to pace around, hands clasped behind his back as he stares ahead of himself "I will not say that Toren is completely free of blame, but enough pressuring of one still in the early spring of their life will cause them to break. I personally know not the full story behind why Toren left, aside from it having to do with Berr. Artimec, we have had numerous occasions where Berr has shamed the uniform, which is troubling. He will most likely be punished, but not until we have full evidence of his wrongdoings." He would state, swiveling around on his heels and looking back to Kairn at that statement.

"My son has faced many trials in his rise to El'Ceru, and I couldn't be more proud. Can he be harsh? Of course, but it is a necessary evil in our line of work. You can claim some of the Sirame's insubordination is due to the harshness of my son, but he could argue that he is harsh due to their insubordination. There is no proof as to who is right. It is simply the same question as 'Which came first, the chicken or the egg'?" He pauses in his pacing, looking between the two "This situation will be dealt with by our Annil and Praetor, and they shall do a fine job with it. End of discussion."

Artimec addressed Aenor with a plain drawl;

"It's a vicious cycle and it is both Kairn and the insubordinate's fault. Both need to change. Though Kairn is currently being the problematic one by being too prideful and emotional to change his ways as well as making personal attacks at his superiors.

I would suggest you teach your son to swallow his pride and learn to change if he wants this problem to end. And also to learn treat his betters with respect if he wishes those under him to treat him the same way. I can and will punish him for the next biting comment he makes as he would punish an el'avern who spat at his face."

Caldarin nods and steps forward, finally raising his voice. "Well said, Aenor. We should all agree to at least temporarily work together until the El'Annil and the Praetor make the final decisions. This feud has been going on for almost all the time I've been a member of the Sirame." He pauses for a moment, looking around the room. "I wish to be able to see that the Sirame could stand as one and be more effective as both a military and a peacekeeping group trying to restore peace to the Mali'ame, just as they were before this feud started." He turns to face Artimec next.

"Legislator, forgive the rudeness, but I would ask that at least for now you should try to work together with Kairn, to get over the problems with Berr first. Then you two can settle your issues with each other. Or you could at least wait until final decisions have been made about the problem by the El'Annil and the Praetor." He pauses for a second before speaking again, "Of course, it's just a suggestion."

Aenor inclines his head to Artimec, listening before replying:

"Oh, do not get me wrong, I never claimed my son was free of blame. With every situation that is similar to this, there is always fault on both sides. My son can be prideful, I agree, yet with constant insubordination he will grow more bitter. Once again, we come back to the question of 'Which came first?', though it will do us no good continuing to go around in circles."

Aenor's gaze slowly moves to Kairn, a small sigh escaping his lips before he adresses his son:

"You are a Calithil, Kairn. Calithil's carry a level head and a strong heart in the darkest of times. Do not let these acts of insubordination wear you down." He would say with a dismissive flick of his wrist, before his hand returns to clasping the other behind his back "Those who are insubordinate will be dealt with, and I will personally punish them once evidence is brought forth. If any try to bother you, simply tell me and I shall speak to them. They may be willing to listen to another of the Sirame."

Meleranion, returning from the Land of Ing, hears news of this and facepalms as to why anyone would let a 15 year old elf come to pass as a tir. He writes a note to Kairn, who he heard was responsible.

"Dear sir Kairn,

I would like to know what you were thinking when you placed a moody 15 year old with the title of El'Tir, when he hasn't even reached his 50th year. This strongly goes against my personal recruitment policy of not rectruiting men, women, or anything between under the age of 50 due to their renowned inability to follow and comprehend orders, or let alone give them! You have lost a bit of respect from me if you dont mind me saying - I saw you change and thought it entirely true but then this happened, and I never thought I'd be saying this but Ceru, you've gone a bit soft. I wouldn't like to see this happen again, although I can't do anything if it does.

~Meleranion"

Toren would somehow respond to Meleranion.

"I was put there because the people YOU recruited were worthless."

Berr Athri would some how respond to Aenor, responding to Toren, responding to Mel... yeah

"The boy states it as if he 'recruited' himself, sir. In no way shape or form did something like this happen. Yet, if it did, the ones he has recruited are as worthless as the ones Mel recruited..."

If only Neci could respond to Aenor...responding to Toren...responding to Mel...somehow.

"Some day's llir, I truly wish I could serve alongside my people once more and show them how to handle a uniform properly. This bickering nonsense should have died the moment it arise, to get so many grown Mali talking about it makes us look no more educated then valah teenagers or worst...self sufficient children.

Upon searching the file records he found that Katar had actually let the boy into the sirame, he sends a followup note to Kairn

"I apologise El'Ceru, disregard that...bloody Katar, administer lashes as needed ~Mel"

He then sends out a note to KATAR

"Dear Sir Katar

I was checking the records recently and I could not help but notice it was you who accepted Toren Camoryn into the Sirame, with an application with an age such as 'old enough', this seems ever so sloppy on your end and I would hate to see this happen again.

~your friend Meleranion"

He also somehow responds to the somehow responders

"Who have I recruited that has been so horrible? I havent recruited in a long time, due to the fact that I see none worthy enough, and for the record I had denied Nym Els'Thaan in the first place, till someone else recruited him. I would like an example to this accused 'horrible recruitment'"

Caldarin would somehow respond to Mel responding to Neci responding to Berr responding to Aenor responding to Toren responding to Mel responding to...nevermind. Basically he gives up on this responding process that somehow reaches through the universe.

"How would you recruit yourself? Someone had to recruit Toren. Also, aren't all new recruits worthless for at least half a year or so? And yes, I quite agree with Aenor."

He turns to again somehow respond to Mel, "Point taken."
