Here's my suggestion, if you're going to make a tutorial level. 

Don't....

The best game design is when you teach the player how to play by game design, such as Megaman, Mario, and the other classic games. When you teach a player by playing they feel like they're enjoying a game and not a "HEY DO THIS!"

The only reason why it has a small tutorial level (that takes three minutes to pass) is only to introduce you to the objects. 

It's a test of an assignment I'm working on atm. Will do a bigger game project starting in two weeks which I can market
