Laureh'lin Registry

Hello everyone! I am Siri, the Guildmaster of Laureh'lin. With the removal of Ac'Aeulu and a overhaul of the current systems, we finally are going to update the Housing Registry! There are several changes in how one requests for a home, so please pay attention to the topic as it is most likely covered!

To qualify for a home, you must .....

1. Be of mali descent (We do not house humans, dwarves, kha, orcs and non-mortals)
2. Agree to obey the laws of the Province of Laureh'lin and that of the Orenian Crown
3. Have read and understand that you have to contribute to the state under Section 4 of the Laureh'lin Laws. (https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/133579-definitive-laws-of-laurehlin/)

To request a home:

1. Fill out the application below
2. Arrange to talk to Siri (shimmeringbliss), Calius (ShadowedOblivion), or Praetor Tristin (_Leric_), and Chancellor Artimec (Leowarrior14) through birds or letters. 
3. We will arrange for a time to meet, and we will go through a tour in order to pick the best home for you!
4. Ensure that the answers to the apps are truthful, as certain professions are exempt or given lesser economic obligations! (taxes)

In Laureh'lin, we have several kinds of homes! To better educate a prospective citizen, please take a look in person to judge for yourself the best kind of home you want! Below is a small guide on the various homes available to potential malis(Keep in mind the taxes are under assumption you do not have a special consideration):

 

1. Upper Home Small (UH Small)

A generally small home, fit for 1-2 people. Tax is 100 minas per year/elven week. Very bright, and usually entails a small garden either at the front or back! Perfect starting home for new beginnings.

 

2. Upper Home Family (UH Family)

A large home designed for families, can house up to 3 and above. The Council will only give these out to anyone who is moving in with 3 or more people. You get a fancy porch plus all the increased space! Tax rate is 150 minas per year/elven weekly. 

 

3. Burrow Homes A & B (BA/BB)

A burrow home has varying size, going from labyrinths to a small work room. Feel free to expand, as long as it doesn't interfere with your neighbours or nearby facilities! Tax is 100 minas per year/elven weekly. 

 

4. Sky Homes (SH)

Beautiful hanging homes upon the Tree of Life, its size is slightly smaller than that of a regular Upper Home Small. However it makes up for the gorgeous view from its vantage, as well as the fresh cold air every morning! Tax rate is 100 minas per year/elven weekly, and are heavily limited. All are filled at the moment (Year 1523).
