A Cleric's Forgotten Memories

Pain.

"Get out here! Get help!"

Screaming.

"No witnesses... leave her only."

A sword snapping.

"Make her think she did all of this... if not, kill her."

Memories fading.

"Who are you?"

She bolted awake, panting deeply. Her body relaxed and she looked out of the window with sadness in her eyes. Her dream was a nightmare, she remembered hearing a male's voice and a female's voice. The sound of screaming and fighting. Pain and panic flooding through her.  Hearing the man's voice uneased her greatly, filled her with fear and dread. Yet the woman's voice calmed her, made her feel safe... it was much like hers, but determined and calm.

 

She wasn't sure what happened. She woke up lying injured in blood, a snapped in half sabre by her side. She saw more blood around her, on her. What happened? Did a fight happen? A woman came... Senira was her name... and she helped her. Told her who she was and what her purpose was, and she tended to her injuries. As did the woman and man, Kyral Winterleaf and Heshakomeu Sohae. The told her who she was and what her purpose was, but none of it rung any bells.

 

She remembered her name perfectly.... yet why didn't she remember her past? Her memories? Her friends? What happened to her on that day? The young girl blinked in surprise and lifted her hand to her cheek, only now realizing she was crying. Why was she feeling sad and had pain in her heart? Did she see something she shouldn't have that day? Was that day a bad day for her? Asking those questions only brought more misery and pain to her.

 

She just guessed that her real self, with all her memories, was mourning about what happened. With a sigh, she laid back down on her bed and closed her eyes.

 

Perhaps she was unknowingly mourning that all those memories that made her Elvira Mantisuku were gone..

 

((OOC: So yeah, Elvira has amnesia due to a confrontation with Lorien and three allies of his. It was a very interesting RP that took place when I was so close to building the wall layout at Destati, I never saw it coming till I saw the three there. This will be interesting to RP out Elvira with amnesia and it'll likely carry out for a few days. Just want to thank Hugo (can't remember his new username) and the two others that were with him, and that's it really, ciao!))

"You didn't kill her. You should have killed her. She will suffer like you suffer. Do you want this?"

"Just stop...She bled out, I am sure."

"Why do you lie to yourself?"

The elf pauses, his previously scratching quill halting on the parchment. A splotch of ink wells up, seeping down and into an odd crevasse in the middle of the sheet. With a sigh, Lorien glances down at the stained navel.

"If it is true, then I shall finish what I started."

At that, the conversation between self and other ends with the wailing of a hundred voices, ringing in his ears alone. That, too, is soon drowned out by the resumed scraping of a quill upon skin.

((I'm glad you enjoyed the little attack! I couldn't help but feel kinda bad for Elvira, there...Lorien has been quite the personal antagonist in her life, it seems. I promise it isn't purposeful! Anyway, this is well written post! I am interested as to how the RP turns out; keep me posted :)  )).

Ramza looks to the scene left behind as the evidence and blood, he grits his teeth. Time spending with his injured lover. 

 

"It seems it's time to get serious..." He mutters, looking to his runed sword. 

 

"Revenge is not the favored word.. Not even that can describe what will happen.. But this is not over.." 

 

"Far from it.."
