Hey All, Sug here and I need screenshots for our social media! Many of you may be saying...

But simply, that's it. I have dedicated this thread to Screenshots of the server in order to use them in both social media and numerous projects that may occur in the future. So lets get creative and excited about this!

I'm looking for interesting, beautiful, and dynamic places that are all around the map. Things that may want to bring people to or back to the server. We need these pictures to capture the playerbase and and map as a whole. You may think, is that it? But Wait there is more!

Many of you have shaders and I ask you guys in particular to pitch in. If you have a clique of players you are friends with and want to show them and your RP off then send us your screenshots of what it is you guys do or the places in which you reside. Hey free advertising right?

Oh Yes! By the way! I will mention your playernames for providing the screenshots if you are okay with that! Well that's it! Now go out there and get those screenshots!

I also think that the Media Team should be capable of getting screenshots themselves.

It's not that we can't just go out and get screenshots, it is that we may not know of certain places on the map that you all know about. We also don't have access to everything lock wise  and I mean we never 'run' out of screenshots, we are compiling them at the moment. This is just so if you have anything cool in your screenshots, that we may not or do not have, and want to share them. Then this is where you would do so. Understand? So maybe it is from an event from a while ago, or a secret meeting between necromancers. We may not have screenshots from those events. That is why we are just saying if you have them, and would like to put them forward be cause you think they are cool or interesting than this thread is where you would do so. Comprende?

Okay buddy 

1.) These screenshots will be compiled into portfolios and used in our social media, as stated above. Many will be used in tweets, posts, etc.. If you do not know what social media is, it is twitter, facebook, and soon to be instagram. 

2.) For that who's going to see the screenshots question. One would assume all the people who follow or look at our social  media, planetminecraft, and the voting websites right?

3.) The social media not only includes twitter and Facebook but PlanetMinecraft and the voting websites as well. These pictures will be up on all of those websites for all to see.

Got it? If you have any more questions please pm me. Due to this fourm being for screenshots only. I'd be happy to explain in more detail but for now I have a lab to get to. Thanks Bud!

Advice to all doing screenshots from someone who has seen SO VERY MANY:

Have something in it. Landscape shots, while pretty, are actually not much use. What is WAAAAAY better is a pretty looking shot that actually has some players in it. And action shots you say? I think I just got a little firm. Players in the middle of doing something (anything) is amazing. Turn your field of view way down to zoom right up on them and get some of that sweet sweet drama captured in your screenshot.

Sure, you can have awesome shaders and play with lens flares and all that stuff, but in the end what really has gumption (especially for social media shareability) is screenshots of players looking like they're having a good time.
