Opus Herd

The eventful days leading up to the finding of these stout green beings were filled with farming and breeding. As they discovered the green men word reached back into the settlements; breeding an inquisitive state from all. Some of the digging Ascendants sought that same knowledge, moving their cobbled bodies and husk-infested insides to follow the scouting party to only add onto protection. They surely surrounded the canyon's tops, moving to climb to the top of them and peer down at the goblinoids.

In the mean time the harvest ensued, both plants and people alike seeking to bolster the tribe's peoples. As long as such occurred, the uncaring Ascendants continued digging and studying into the glowing stone's structure. Soon they would name it, though for the time being they remained at their studies for days at a time without rest. Some of the Newborns leave the farms as a means to tend to the usual studies; and are strapped to giant pikes awaiting a storm; hoping to discover something if anything from the desperate plea.

Actions

1. 50/150 Ascendants continue to dig tunnels upon tunnels into the depths of the land, branching in multiple directions but always being remembered on how to traverse the creviced halls.

2. 50/150 Ascendants proceed to study the stone as they had before.

3. 50/300 Newborns and 50/150 Ascendants advance to the top of the canyons, peering down into them to scout out what it may contain; and what the goblinoids may be hiding.

4. 50/300 Newborns continue to tend their newfound farms, mostly comprised of wheat and different herbs they found to not be poisonous.

5. 150 of the Newborns continue breeding as before, hoping for a very large boost given their dedication and the guidance from their ascendants.

6. 50/300 Newborns are strapped to giant pikes in the ground toward the skies as the Viscosa look for answers to their life's fulfillment.

Blood Moon Tribe: The celebration would continue as planned, the scouts would report back as seeing nothing while during the middle of the day a man dress in white robes and cloak with a staff of gold walks into the city seemingly floating over any defenses to approach the royal family "To All who make this settlement there own, I am willing to make a deal if you are listening Power in return for power" he calls out before disappearing into the main hall of the town to await a response

A few scouts slowly entire the room filled with books. Most of the scouts avoid the book glowing black, but a single brave soul, reaches out and gently picks it up. When the book doesn't kill him instantly, he nods, and slips the book along with a couple of the history books, before heading back out into the ruins. Each scout grabs some of the books, and together, they take them all back to the camp, outside of the camp. They inform the entire group what they had found and begin passing out the books they had found, except for the glowing book. The brave soul kept that one for himself to read first, in case it was dangerous. Afterwards, he would pass it around Everyone got something to eat, and begin glancing through the books, to see if any of them could comprehend any of it.

Blood Moon Tribes

The Royal family warily and nervously watches at the man before after a long conversation between the council and everyone in the palace before the Royal family is led out to the main hall led by some of the stronger troops before they take a seat infront of the man with a curious look before the princess curiously asks "What kind of deal. . .?". Meanwhile the celebration slowly begins to die down and the capital's palisade defenses and towers are completed, troops equipped with the newly designed Javelins as a ranged weapon and the new roads now helping with trade and prosperity. After the projects are all finished new ones are suggested and put in to work.

~Research and Construction~

The suggestion for a better defensive measure for the troops is suggested and a sort of shield is suggested before the weapon smiths begin creating a shield (4 posts.

The curiosity of what would be under the earth has grabbed the attention of some of the people and so they suggest the tools needed for these ambitions, a pickaxe is thought up and put into creation(2 posts).

A better military is always needed, mainly a better trained one and soon some of the better army soldiers(Strongest, quickest...etc) are put into an officer position as the Tribes reform the military in a slightly more neat way, the officers training the rest of the troops to be in a peak condition.(Tobeannouced)

The Horde of the Vale

Duungrim meets with his brother Thralm as they come back to the camp empty handed and somewhat distraught. "None of this makes sense.." he sighs going to his tent, Thralm follows "Perhaps the spirits..are angry?" Duungrim stops and turns "Do you truly believe in those childish stories?" Thralm gives him a glare "They are more then stories...legends of our ancestors past. I believe that it is what is wrong, and I shall try to appease them if need be, with or without your blessing...Warchief." Duungrim shares a glare with Thralm for several long silent moments before nodding "Fine..you have my approval. But if you end up dead, we'll not come looking for your body." Thralm nods turning and exiting the camp handing a grunt his axe as he departs for the forest.

Duungrim rallies several men together "You hunted the great boars yes?" the grunt nods "Of course Warchief, must we hunt more?" Duungrim shakes his head "No, capture some and bring them here...they seem more useful then just for food. PREPARE SOME PENS!"

Actions ((MOD PLZ))

1. Scouts patrol the perimeter of the camp keeping an eye out for unwanted or hostile beings.

2. Several parties of 7 or 8 Orcs are sent to try and capture Boar to be brought back to camp, an attempt at domestication.

3. Thralm brother of Duungrim heads into the forests, unarmed and without armor to attempt to 'Commune' with the Spirits for his Clan, in hopes of achieving knowledge for what their clan should do. For without lumber, they would need to move on.

With word of the abundant supply that the small green men held the digging Ascendants break off, the supported tunnels remaining hollow from the earth. With a deciding factor of needed assistance the researching Ascendants depart from their minor studies to march. Altogether they move, the harvest festival ending to send some of the newborns toward their new goal. Some Newborns stay back, tending to the current crops.

With the storm not striking those upon the poles, they're taken back down, having achieved self-assumed enlightenment. With their massing numbers they gather, Ascendants with stone hides and empty husks taking the from while Newborns with spears stand behind them. It was without command a small force of Newborns dispatched to the top of the canyons, while the Ascendants and their children hidden behind them approached. Altogether they charged, seeking to rend through the goblinoids with their hardened forms and rain of spears from the top of the canyon; their ultimate goal to trap them within and rain spears down upon them until their numbers were enough to capture if possible.

Actions

1. All 150/150 Ascendants charge into the entrance of the canyon in an attempt to take it over, and from thereon hold it; using their thick stone hides to guard.

2. 300/500 Newborns stand atop the canyons, raining spears down unto the goblinoids, looking to slaughter any stuck within with precision while they're trapped in the narrow routes.

3. 100/500 Newborns stand behind the Ascendants and stab forward at any charging enemies, using their ancestors as a stone wall of protection.

4. 100/500 remaining Newborns stay within their villages, harvesting the farms and tending to them appropriately.

The tribes are certainly alarmed once they hear the booming voice of dragons and so soon after the wise man disappeared...and the shrine priestess gaining the ability to use magic so says the now proclaimed god. Then the reports of snake people along the shores! This will be a difficult couple of months but none the less the council orders a brave soldier to go to the shores with the best weaponry available and await the dragon to take him away seeing no other option considering the circumstances, scouts are also sent out to check just how many snake like people have surfaced and what they may be equipped with. Once these orders were given out, The military goes into overdrive, preparing a proper army, with units and leaders; the current army now numbering at 215 soldiers, trained and ready to defend their island to the death, the soldiers taught guerrilla tactics and how to use the newly acquired javelins while strategies are thought up. While the military prepares for the first war, civil matters are discussed and soon those pick axes are put to work, the tribes finding the most suitable hill, the larger ones to dig into, trying to find something new while being cautious of the dangers. New topics are brought up as well in the council chambers while the military and scouts go to work.

~Research and Construction~

Opus Herd

At the sound of the draconic horrors demanding a pilgrim, the Viscosa were uncaring to send a single one of their men to discover what knowledge awaited. One singular Ascendant sought the path to the shores, resilient as their people always were, killing along the way as a means to eat when necessary. Their name was Ake, the Chosen. An appropriate name for his trial at hand, eventually reaching the shores and awaiting the foretold quest.

In the mean time the Newborns gathered all the picks and spears that could be scavenged; taking the tome to the deepest recesses of the caverns so that the Ascendants could focus their time on it. A store chamber was made to contain these glowing stones, to which they named Asmund. The Asmund was stored properly and with care, never once unguarded by the Viscosa Ascendants.

It was only so long until a new number of Newborns were carved into the stone, taking shelter in the earth like their forefathers and entering the yearly comatose state. Per usual a large number of Newborns remained tending the farms, dealing with their food supply appropriately. A subsequent number of Newborns moved to the taken canyons as a means to colonize it and add onto the Herd's reach. An expansion was to be made, and established hastily with what the goblins left behind.

Actions

1.  70/140 Ascendants study the mass number of varying Asmund in all the many ways they can.

2. 70/140 Ascendants study the magic book along with the acquired staff from the War Chief.

3. 100/440 Newborns are left to farm and supply the peoples with food.

4. 100/440 Newborns go into comatose beneath the Earth, safe from the outer world for the time being.

5. 240/440 Newborns move to the new unoccupied canyon hex to settle it and move into it for the Viscosa.

Shalunist Custos

The Brave Soul takes back the book from the last person to attempt to read it. Only he could make out enough to gain something from it. He begins his reading. Just as he began to read, a loud booming voice was heard.

"I am Tharon Guardian of this land and lord of all dragonkind, those who with our help against this threat in the sea must send a single pilgrim to the ocean shore to be gathered at the mountain top any who refuse will be deemed as self protecting and will not be sheltered by my kin."

The Brave Soul slipped the book into his bag, and meet in the middle of the tents, for an inevitable group meeting. Together they decided to send a representative. After some discussion, it was decided that the Brave Souls younger sister would be sent. Another thing was to be decided before she left, however. The Brave Soul, and now, his sister, were to be given last names. This was a great honor in the group, for last names were only given to those who have passed, or achieved something incredible. The Brave Soul was named Arcus Umbra-Rune, in honor of his understanding of the Magical Book. His sister was to be named Lyra Drake-Path, in honor of her pilgrimage to be the first to meet Dragons, as the Custos people's representative.

The night before she leaves, a great feast is held, in her and her brother's honor, as is custom when gaining a last name. Before she and her brother go to bed that night, he pulls her aside.

Arcus: "Lyra, I want you to be careful doing this trip. Come back in one piece, okay, sister?"

Lyra: "Arcus, don't worry. I no you'd be hopeless without me. I'll make sure to come back to you. *Kisses her brother on the cheek* Now, I need to get some sleep. Good night, brother."

Arcus: "Goodnight sister. I'll see you off tomorrow."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next morning, Lyra is given a satchel of food, a few javelins, and a stone hatchet. Her and her brother share a few tender words again, and she heads off.

Arcus watches her until he can no longer see her, and then goes to read the book, his heart heavy. As he reads, the people around him begin to gather their supplies. It's time to move. They would love to stay and study the metal more, but they can't afford to at this point. Soon, they would be needed for war, and they wanted to be close enough to help, when it happened. Before leaving, they named the metal "Adamantite" after the fallen Empire.

ACTIONS
1. Lyra Drake-Path begin walking towards the coast, to meet with the Dragons.
(Yellow Path)

2. The Custos pack up, and move on. ((MOD))((Red Path))

3. As they walk, 20 Custos study the history books, in a random order. ((MOD))

4. As they walk, Arcus reads the Magic Book, attempting to learn more about what's in it.

Blood Moon Tribes

The time to act was now, the newly created shields were finished and well built, enough for 215 soldiers to carry into battle. And so 107 trained warriors were given shields, sharp spears and hatchets while 108 soldiers are given shields, javelins and stone hatchets and prepare for war. Once the scouts return with the information of strange weaponry and a large leader, the plan was set-they were to set out just before dark and surround the spire as quickly and silently as they could, and so they did just that, being soundless as they moved across the land staying low as the whole army moves forwards to surround the much smaller army. Once the army was in place, the men wielding Javelins mainly slipped forwards till the were in a suitable position before being followed shortly by the shield bearer's and after a while, the silence of the night would be partially broken by javelins being chunked with deadly force at the snake people while shield bearer's charged forwards under the cover of javelin fire before they all smash into the naga's forces, using a newly created tactic, parties of five shield bearer's fight together to make thingy safer and more quick while the javelin men slip forwards, moving to further surround them and when ever they had the chance to-would throw their javelins at the supposed leader, using his height as a marker for who to focus on.

Meanwhile everything continues to go normally in the tribes.

The Horde of the Vale

Thralm returns with news to his Warchief from the Ents "They claim there are better resources down south, and that if we move there, they'll leave us be." he glances over at the Kobold raising a brow "What in the ancestors name is that?" Duungrim turns looking at the Kobold "We captured one, he has a strange weapon, its tougher then stone and he seems to have constructed a wooden barrier one can attach to his arm for protection in battle...very useful but its not my style." Thralm nods sighing "So who is to go on this...pilgrimage?.." Duungrim hands Thralm the Iron Axe "You, take this thing with you." Duungrim looks to the Kobold "Relax scales...you'll get to meet your 'gods' soon enough." Thralm walks over to the Kobold "Untie him, come with me we travel to meet the Dragons."

After thralm and the Kobold leave for the shore Duungrim watches from the camp entrance, one of the Grunts approaches him "I did not realize we seek help from the Drag-" before he can finish his sentence the grunt would be picking himself up off the ground, Duungrim growling at him with a closed fist "We Seek no ones help but our own and the ancestors...Only the strong survive in this world, living behind a shield of protection only makes one weak! The dragons offer knowledge..besides I hope Thralm to meet others at this...pilgrimage, enemies, allies..." he turns to watch as his brother disappears beyond the hills "All will bow to the Horde.."

Actions ((MOD))

1. Thralm and his Kobold companion make pilgrimage to meet with the Dragon to take them from the shore.

2. Duungrim gives the shield confiscated from the kobold to his top lieutenant for study. ((Development of Shields))

3. The Orc Camp prepares to move out, creating cages to hold the 4 wild and ferocious boars they had managed to capture. They soon depart for land to claim and finally settle. ((Map Below, marked Black X))
