"Aenor, in all the recent times I have stopped by Laurehlin, I end up leaving due to oddly childish behavior or a lack of people. As for not knowing what is going on, Artimec is dictating culture and you are not even going to question him? What of the bronze elves, that culture was dictated. It just dosn't work that way"

((Woot, 500

"Quite the contrary. We have all been contributing to the uncovering of our culture, something which was previously lost to the ages." Aenor gestures around to the others who have gathered "What kae lliran claim is also true, for this culture is not simply for the pure blooded Ame. Do not claim to know everything that happens within elcihi, for much has changed since you departed."

"I thought we were told to keep the crazies at the gate, besides who is she? I've never seen her before and she's calling me a mutt? What seed does she come from then?" Toren would say all whilst standing beside Aenor.

"Her name is Alirya, and she was around in Athera when you were much, much younger." Aenor folds his arms across his chest, raising his shoulders in a small shrug "As far as I know, she does not have one. A shame, for no Ame should be without one."

"That's probably why she feels so disconnected, because in a big way she is... Pity." Replies Toren.

Salhassan listens to the woman, and the small crowd of debaters, for a moment with intrigue. "What do you think wood elves should act like? Our people have embraced these same things that are now being reintroduced since Malin's time. The closer we are to our history, our ancestors and their beliefs - more than their blood - the closer we are to the Aspects. The Aspects are as integral to our people as our bows. We uphold some of their traditions, like the ilmyumier, as we strive for that closeness our ancestors once had. And no elf, whether he have nothing but high, wood or dark elf in him or a bit of any three subraces, should be denied this."

She shifts the bow on her back, hides and leathers covering her head-to-moccasinned-toe. "Speaking of nature, I find your attempts at poetry rather...basal. I hardly believe you know a thing more about the character of all of life than any human I could pluck from a city street. If I understand you correctly, these high elves posing as wood elves - which I find amusingly hypocritical, since you yourself say you have high elf blood - are much less enlightened about the Aspects' realm than yourself. Do tell us what we all seem to be missing."

"I don't think I've ever heard you say so much." he said, offering Salhassan a fond, if lazy smile of affection as he rotated a stalk of grass he was chewing on between his teeth and facing the crowd. "Alirya may find a place in one of our Seeds someday, but I think she's gone a bit off her rocker...do she even know what she's trying to say..?"

El'Annil Kairn Calithil attempts to slam his fist into Alirya's jaw as she states 'mutt.' His eyes flash with murderous rage, his teeth grit.

Neci watching from the sidelines as she listens to the rant of the mutt her own fingers clenching lightly as she gazes at her own skin with a curled lip of distaste. However when her eyes shifted back upwards she noticed the change in Kairn at those words as she'd go to rush over, throwing out her own arm in a counter swing to throw Kairn's punch off-course and avoid hitting Alirya. If she was successful she'd attempt to lock his arm away to avoid Alirya getting harmed from a retaliation.

"Kairn, don't do this you're not proving her as wrong as she is like this! Just throw her out if she's causing a problem!"

Alirya starred at Kairn then continued,"I know very well what I am saying and since you don't, I'll say more concisely. I find it highly offensive that you would just make up a culture, claim it old with only evidence being word of mouth, and then not even take it to heart. You say it's a 'pity' for me not have this 'seed' you speak of, Camoryn, and yet I've noted a distinct lack of... family bond, responsibility, within your family. So yes, you are all mutt elves until you prove what I have said, to be false"

Toren simply raises an eyebrow to the comment of his family, simply shrugging it off as someone who knows nothing of his family as he returns to his fathers side and gives a smile.

"Do you know any better of the culture of our ancestors? This hasn't come from nowhere. Look around you, woman, this is the culmination of Artimec and his Naelurir's personal efforts to recover what's been lost, what has always persisted in our hearts but was repressed for centuries by people, like you, who claim to know the better way." She gives Artimec a fond nod. "You'll note that those who are passionate about our people, actually passionate, not throwing out half-formed thoughts to gain attention, have worked tirelessly. I know this much; hate is clouding your head and blinding your good judgement. By your own terms you are a 'mutt elf', and nothing you've said makes a hair of sense. Although...we should refrain from beating the sense into each other." She eyes Kairn a moment, hiding an amused smirk.

"Couldn't have said it better myself." Aenor remarks, hands clasping behind his back as he idly watches the confrontation between Kairn and Alirya with mild amusement.

Neci would keep herself between the two before turning on Alirya, her own eyes narrowing slightly as she listens to the other's comment before turning slightly to nod in agreement with Salhassan. "Alirya, perhaps instead of listening to only your own heart you should listen to the llir's that come to Art's defenses. I may not be in this culture focusing on my own dream nor buddies with Art but to simply throw aside his great sacrifices from our culture that was lost is a sham and dishonorable to his family. Nor do you have any right to judge his family nor any others when one's own family should be your primary focus. Less you make further mockery of those of us who are quite passionate about the forests and not yet another holy deity out of the two that have been around for far longer then please leave peacefully or listen and respect."

Turning her attention slightly to Kairn she'd frown at him, noticing the attention his attack would garner from the nearby crowd before turning back. "I don't want this resorting to violence, we are better then that...even if you see /me/ as a mutt I am honored to defend those whom see me for whom I am."
