LotC's 2nd Innovative Artist Competition

Lotc's Innovative Artist Competition exists to showcase the work of our server's fantastic Graphics community. It is my goal in this competition to help quality artists receive recognition for their work and to develop relationships with other artists as we begin to forge a strong community and allow the many artists hiding within our family to express themselves.

 

The contest will officially begin today! The 20th of December, submissions are cut off for the 31th, and the results should be out on the 2nd of January. Rewards are 5000 minas, and the Creative Wizard forum title for first prize winner. Accordingly, all winners 2nd to 5th shall receive an exclusive statuette item in-game along with 1500 minas.

You do not know how sorry I am for the last competition’s complications in prize receival! I promise you that we will be handing them out immediately this time as we have planned ahead!

Now on for what you'll be creating!

 

 

You must craft your very own Krugsmas Holiday Card! Either just the cover or perhaps the entire card’s contents as well! You may use any medium of art for your means.

 

The card must be related to whichever LotC theme you choose, and you must also incorporate a Soulstone into your piece so I know it hasn't been plagiarized. Please submit on this thread!

 

OK, go wild, blow my socks off, be "Innovative" with what you do! Remember to have fun as well, and feel free to work with other artists in your endeavor (maybe do a collab :3 it could be a fun experience, both shall receive a separate prize).

Also quick question, would it make sense to put "And A New Year" On the card? technically it is the new year in real life, in rp I'm not sure, I guess it could be as well.

Why are these comps already art? Can you not do something else other people are good at as not everyone can draw... Or want to submit due to lack of ability?

You could always build something in minecraft that relates to krugsmas. It says any medium of art can be used so yeah
