Considering the current training and materials needed for any smith to gain the aptness to repair diamond equipment, the only conclusion is obscurity and witchcraft of some sort (if the seller indeed possesses this feat already).

I thought the higher-ups prohibited this. Very disappointing.

Ariana has an 'admin shop'. Nobody complains about that. Shiftnative has tons of minas, again, no complaints. Don't get uppity at Tythus just because he decided to make himself the ONE GUY who can repair diamond tools. It's not like he's charging 3k per diamond per job.

....speaking of what he's charging, What're your fees, Tythus? I got a diamond sword and some armor that needs the sparkle reshined into it. I'd also like to purchase some gold from you if your prices aren't sillyhigh.

Well, I might as well paint a big target on my back, but...

He gave himself either 3 million minas or months of pure playtime worth of skill experience. Maybe it's because I really think the ability to repair diamonds is game-breaking in the first place (I mean, come on...) and I found comfort in the fact that it took tremendous effort to get the levels. But still...

Between this and the current xp tables, he just gave himself the monopoly on repairing diamond stuff, without a doubt the most powerful feat of all the skills and powers LoC has.

Just want to point out that none of Native's Mina are spawned. he gained them all legitly just like every othere normal player on the server. But yes i agree, there is nothing wrong with what tythus has done in my opinion. He is just trying to help the community

You could repair diamond under old MCMMO. You could repair diamond in the interim when Vaq set us up so we didn't have to go without (but it took 3 diamonds for a chestplate, now it's 1flat across the board). Yeah, it's going to take a while to get 70 in repair. A long-ass time. I'm barely 35 and I been bustin my tail here.

It's nice to know that you can go to someone and get some help. I mean, every craft IRL has that 'grandmaster' in it who sits atop the mountain retreat, teaching worthy apprentices, etc. Why can't repairing have that 'one guy'?

Also Tythus, where you at, and how much you charge? I still want the sparkle reshined into my armor. I don't care if you set your skill. I can acknowledge the need for 'somebody' to be able to make these repairs at the start. I'd like to someday be the 1 of maybe 10 people who can repair diamond, but for now I can wait and cook up my iron and stone.
