Before the grand visage of the Mali’Aheral enclave, Haelun’or, a figure drenched in hanging torn-cloth shambled into an amalgam of robelike garments stands; lingering beneath the earth shadowing clouds, and having came as quick as the wind blows it’s chilled air. Little could be seen beneath the spectre’s ripped hood; little beyond shaded flesh, scarred and distorted by untold struggles and war and the desperation to mend oneself of these old wounds. One eye, the right was sealed by it’s socket; but the other, unseeable, was grayed and violet and blindlike; staring up upon the gates of the pureblooded.

“HIGH ELVES - I call upon you!” The magus shouted, voice high above the whistle of the winds and echoed into the clouds. Staff lifted high, his voice was carried by vehement tone; bitter but tolerant. “These messages you spread… these declarations--” From his robe, the sage threw, one-handed, a collection of papers and letters, written by the elves Elibar’acal and Kelthran of Ilwindior, all bearing their words exchanged unto those who align with what is known as Xion.

“You issue warnings against that which you know little of; against those who sew falsities, and bear names unlike to them; to those who slander the name of Xion, to those who erect altars of sacrifice for an ideology that do not demand it. I come to speak for Xion, for I AM Xion -- I am the mouth of the Dissentuous Way, of which it’s name had been hijacked by the clueless and deranged!”

Up toward the towering city gates, the one-eye seer points upon the steel grating; a dark figure shrouded by the gathering dark of the night-becoming skies.

“Xion is the dark of the natural world;  Xion is the embodiment of mortal greatness; Xion is dissent against Immortal invaders. Xion is philosophy designed to spur Man against the invaders, and to cast them from our planes. It is not a conglomeration of those who wield the dark arts- it is not a bastion of sin and ill-will. My Xion, my prophetic Xionism, had been taken by name by those who wield necromancies with reckless abandon, whom do not understand the true nature of lifeforce; by those who tear flesh and spill blood for their experiments, hidden in the temples you invaded. Cast aside the term ‘Xionists’, for it honors them too greatly; set unto them the name of the ‘Istvadashar’ - the sons of bedlam - and spare my Xion of unfated displacement.”

His pointed fingers curl into a firm fist as he speaks with great zeal;

“Bring upon the Istvadashar… sword-age; axe-age; cleave their shields asunder. Bring upon them punishment for their havoc, but not punishment for their name. Bring upon them salted earth and scorched ground. Go tell the Istvadashar, that said the passerby; that by Xion law, upon their title, their fate shall lie.”

And as swift as the wind blew, and the dark skies cracked with lightning, the sage was gone as quick as he came.

Kelthran blinked, never having put his name on the papers - but was far more concerned with the figure set before the gates. His eyes widened as the speaker disappeared, before his brows furrowed deeply.

"Perhaps he shouldn't have let known weavers of dark magics into his ranks, if he did not desire this outcome."

He uttered, turning back to the city after a brief pause.

"Nor should their leader appear clad in withered black robes, followed by ominous dark clouds, and disappear in flashes of lightning like the undead of times long past.. I must alert the council."

Velulaei hears of this rather dramatic visitor. Simply pondering if he truly had to go all out for this one message. Could he not of written a letter?

[[ To clarify what may have been a misleading statement, the thread just said that the letters were written by the listed high elves, but it did not suggest their names - just that high elves wrote them. Apologies for the confusion!

Also - I need this moved to High Elven Roleplay by a forum moderator, as a side note to any lingering staff. ]]
