Supremacy 3361 Share Posted December 29, 2015 .~-The Order of the Golden Owl-~. Elibar’acal, elkhel ito narne il’cruan ay’thilln kaean taliiyh adri’leh, ullral, ata— narne’ne ito kaean evarn’lar. The Golden Owl, darkness is upon us, With pain and for silver, we bleed, Apparitions, beasts and the wretched walk amongst us, We are the shield. To whom it so may concern, It is upon this day that the Order of the Golden Owl, so reports to the realm the decrepit halls of Xion. Xionists are, or perhaps were, necromancers who so made their insidious home— perhaps tellingly, or perhaps not so— on the isles south west of the Dwarven Grand Kingdom, currently engaged in a war with the Empire of Oren. The halls of the vile necromantic filth lie dormant, the torches extinguished and halls untampered with. It is thus the Owl so informs the Realm that the Xionists are upon the move, or have disbanded. None the less, from the walls of their corridors the names of multiple necromancers have so been procured. Each shall be found, in turn, as is necessary. The forces of shadow have shifted. Beware. Kaean evarn'lar, Elibar'acal.
Rig 17581 Share Posted December 29, 2015 "I set my gaze on glory, the killing of each and every user of F'hiiran'Tanya, magic of soul-tearing and deliberate ill. Borne of hate, the Elibar'acal shall fall from grace." Comments a Xionist named Vhorr idly.
KBR 2046 Share Posted December 29, 2015 "Xion is not evil, Xion is different then what you believe, you think everyone who knows something is evil, when in reality, you place this label on them in order to have your fun and games killing them, you capture peoples souls and you torture them, you are the ones who are truly evil, you shall be destroyed." Faenor the xionist would murmur to himself.
winterblood 11181 Share Posted December 29, 2015 "Isles south west of Urguan?" Nemir mumbled to herself "Wasn't there some weird fort I stumbled upon on some island there?" She'd tap her chin lightly while continuing on her way.
Ford 1996 Share Posted December 29, 2015 "What the **** makes them think we're all goddamn necromancers?! What is with that? Are you mentally deficient?! Are you those 'aheral who still prefer to read picture books and then claim that they are 'intellectually stimulating?!' I suppose since Haelun'or has an abundance of Fjarriauga, I may claim that it is a bastion of filth as well? The audacity of these fuckwits!" Archembalt -- a former Xionist -- exclaimed!
Parkins 550 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Within the halls of Xundr, an old man sits pon a crumbling throne. His head resting within his palm, a horde of ghouls filling the halls with various moans and other, more disgusting sounds. The man would grit his teeth as if in pain, before muttering lowly to one of the nearby eternal guardians. The ghoul would transcribe a note, crudely, before setting out to have it dropped before the elves gates, barely legible. "As Xion falls, Xundr shall stand tall."
Caelria 2619 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Kelthran Ilwindior: the Tilurir'lliran of Haelun'or, and the one tasked with sifting through all of the hate mail sent to Fi'ceru, furrowed his brows at the sudden influx of letters after The Order of The Golden Owl's trip to the Xionist stronghold - aptly named Xion. Candlelight flickered across his abode, the wax dribbling from its source and onto an iron saucer below as he penned his response. "Dear dissatisfied Xionists, and whomever else may be concerned; The Silver Council of Haelun'or has reviewed both your letters and shouts in regards to the recent declaration regarding Xion, and is prepared to make a public statement regarding it. We had learned, through the word of trusted confidants and friends, that the group dubbing themselves "Xionists" were harboring characters who were learnt in the ways of dark magic. Dissatisfied with acting on hearsay; Taeleh Elibar'acal organized a small contingent of his forces and sought meeting with their leaders. Upon The Order of The Golden Owl's arrival to the mountainside keep, they found no guard or lookout of any kind - and deemed it appropriate to find a way around the gates in the investigation of the seemingly abandoned keep. The Order of The Golden Owl found little but ruin past the decrepit gatehouse - despite the good standing of the seven iron doors betwixt the side-entry and interior of the keep. Subterranean in nature, the keep mimicked the stereotypical lairs of evildoers in times past; with a darkened library and office desk, sacrificial altar surrounded by three reddened pillars, iron grated doorways to various areas, and winding staircases descending to stone-carved domiciles for their minions. The Order of The Golden Owl, after much investigation, deemed their search conclusive and abandoned the empty settlement. The Order of The Golden Owl's statement, however, did not mirror the opinion of The Silver Council of Haelun'or until later that evening. Less than an Elven day after the establishment was deemed unsafe, the members discovered, and the declaration of Xion's hidden darkness thrust forth into the light of the public eye, a ghoul was killed outside of Fi'ceru clutching a note in its rotten, mangled fingers. The note reads as follows: "As Xion falls, Xundr shall stand tall." As such; The Silver Council of Haelun'or encourages other nations to follow their example, and apprehend any individuals claiming to be members of either Xion of Xundr for interrogation in regards to their now proven affiliations with dark magi. Should any High Elves boasting of their connection to these associations arise within your lands, The Silver Council of Haelun'or requests that they be delivered to Fi'ceru so they may be dealt with fairly among their own people. Sincerely, The Silver Council of Haelun'or" The letter was both pinned alongside Elibar'acal's post and sent to the many allies of Haelun'or - finding its way to noticeboards and strongholds across Vailor by means of Elven courier.
WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Artimec frowned as he ran a cloth across his twining druidic staff, pondering idly. "Is the antimagic they use not a dark art itself? "
