Quick post to get everyone to collab together on the update and see what new stuff they found.

We found out Bluesteel swords, and after a bit of investigation we know they are supposed to be more durable iron swords but their damage is capped allot lower.

After speaking to Jistuma we found out that the Stonemason weapons have the HIGHEST +dmg to them. To make them you require a woodworker to make staves, a blacksmith to make the components and the mason to make the flawless diamond and finally crafting the weapon.

There are also a bunch of new weapons in Blacksmith tab some of them being Blacksteel. I do not know much about it currently so those of you that do feel free to share the info.

Woodworkers are also getting some love, with 3 or 4 new bows made out of different types of wood. What do these bows do, well I don't know haha

Alchemists finally get their shears to find herbs, you can enchant them with unbreaking and fortune! Currently when you enchant them it damages the durability so be careful. It requires 2 gold and 2 sticks. Durability is very horrible on these shears so be sure to bring plenty with you when you plan to gather.

This is all I have looked into with the.. 10 minutes of time I had to check out the server before dev mode came up.

Getting some shears made now and I'm also trying to get a leatherworker for cloth to try out the new bows. Considering I have 10 stacks of thornbark I should be good on that...

New diamond weapons are capped at 20%. So are normal iron weapons.

Blacksteel weapons are minimum 30% and maximum 60%.

Don't know about new gold weapons.

I'm here to help you all!

So, normal weapons and bluesteel now are capped at +20%. Steel and luminous aurum have minimum 15%, max 40%. The Black Ferrum and the Slayer Steel (gold) have minimum 30% and max 60%. The Daemon Steel and Aengul Arurum blades have min 45% and max 70%.

A big change though. Before, you had luck based min for all blacksmithing levels (meaning an aengelic blacksmith could get a 10% sword) this no longer happens. Mins are raised, so everytime an aengelic blacksmith makes the worse swords, they will always be capped at 20%, you won't get worse than... I don't remember the number, I think it's like 30%.

Bows work about the same way. In other words, to get the best bows, you need better bows.

Same as an iron sword. so it's +6.

7 * 1.2 = 8.4 -> Max BlueSteel

6 * 1.4 = 8.4 -> Max Steel Swords

6 * 1.6 = 9.6 -> Max Black Ferrum Swords

6 * 1.7 = 10.2 -> Max Daemon Steel Swords

I understand bluesteel has some kind of innate armor pen, is that true? And if so is bluesteel the only type of weapon that has it or are their other weapons that have armor penetration as well?
