Hey i noticed elfs had the same old greetings as everyone else so i figured i'd go look up some actual greetings in the elven language and i figured the most appropriate would be the lord of the ring's creators elven language. so here are a few greetings in elven

Elen síla lúmenn(a) omentielmo

Translated it means: A star shines upon the hour of the meeting of our ways.

Its a Old Traditional greeting used between two people (or two companies of many people) each going on a path that crosses that of the other.

Another version of this would be

Elen silë omentiemman : A star is shining upon our meeting

Basicly the same thing but one more..traditional and formal

Now as for the Departing or farwells

the most usual one would be

Áva márië - go happily

or

Márienna - To Happiness

this is only a small portion of elven that could be learned. I hope that we could help elves mabe learn the old language

I approve of this and I would love to hear more of our language. I think that Nanutsuno (Spelling?) have found parts of our language and published his notes. ((You should find it somewhere on those forums, but I still think we can use stuff like this to spice RP up))

Thanks for the heads up, found it, and added a edited version of this post, but more roleplayish
