What’s the rule you agree with the most?:" Excessive trolling or use of 'memes' in roleplay are disallowed. " I do not think i have to explain why i agree with this rule, trolling is the bane of lots of RP servers, not only on minecraft.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Read everything that i did not understand completely several times before writing this application, so i think i understand all the rules.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?

I used to play on another account back in Anthos and had loads of fun. Unfortunately lost that account so i am using this one.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using OOC knowledge in RP, for example (RANDOM NAME) says in OOC Chat that he is about to backstab you, so you turn around and kill (RANDOM NAME).

What is powergaming?:Powergaming is the act of enforcing your RP action on another player without letting them respond to it.

 

In-Character Information

Character’s name: Donovan Fontaine

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Human

Character’s age: 43

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Born to Francesca Fontaine, a proud Heartlander and to Duncan Fontaine, a Hunter from the outskirts of Felsen. He had an older brother by the name of Wallis, who was also an aspiring sorcerer.

 

Donovan grew up in a cozy mansion in Felsen. He was a very agile boy and a quick-learner, being able to best his dad in combat by the age of 13. He always wanted to learn magic, but his brother was against it, saying that it was too dangerous for him. His brother was quite the introvert. He stayed in his room for countless hours a day, practicing his strange spells and incantations, saying that they were just harmless alteration spells. But Donovan was smarter than that. He knew his brother was up to something.

 

His parents loved Wallis with all their heart, and would not believe that their ''pumpkin'' would do anything bad. They did not trust Donovan. He knew he had to have actual proof of his brother's evil tidings. So he followed him. Wallis only got out of the house after dusk, so young Donovan had to be careful. He silently stood in the shadows, watching every move of his brother. He eventually reached an abandoned mansion in the outskirts of the city. There, Wallis met with a bunch of people. Bad people. Donovan knew it. Each one of them carried a bag with them. It seemed heavy and reeked of flesh. All of the strange people dropped the bags on the floor, revealing corpses. His parent's corpses. Donovan gasped, trying to hold his tears. Trying not to get caught, but it was in vain. Wallis did not flinch at the sight of his parent's corpses. He also did not flinch when his brother was discovered by one of the necromancers. He knew what he had to do.

 

The next morning he found his house burned. everything he loved was turned to ashes. Worthless ruins. He set out, knowing that he will find his brother, knowing that he will end him.

 

The next years he made a living as a mercenary, gaining enough gold for a good sword and good armor. He needs to prepare if he is going to face his brother.

Personality Traits: He has a cold personality, only opening up to his most trustworthy friends. He is fair, too fair, some say. He is also determined to reach all of his goals.

Ambitions: He wants his brother's head on a pike, but he also feels that he should help people in need. He wants to learn the arts of magic, since he was fascinated by that since he was a little boy

Strengths/Talents: Good swordsman and tracker,  very agile and pretty strong, due to his harsh training routine as a child, since his father was a hunter.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Gets angered quite quickly sometimes, leading to carelessness in battle. Not good with any ''two-handed'' weapons(axes for example) and no affiliation with magic(for now :D)
