WOW THIS LOOKS LIKE A ALOT OF FUN ACTUALLY !!!!!!!! xD! So less hardcore and player friendly! Finally i can relax and listen to some chillstep while I pvp! Hopefully this will discourage those PvP defaulters xD! Everyone that enjoys the PvP in 1.8 should just move onto different games like roblox or reign of kings! Minecraft is meant for building and not for hitting minecraft player men with a sword! Bring back our mellow c418 music and building farms please!

This is exactly what I feared would come of the new system, it's literally jumping around like an idiot, waiting a second, hoping to land a swing then just jumping around some more. That isn't strategy, THAT IS LUCK. The hit detection is even worse than 1.8's now, and on top of lag you won't be hitting anyone anytime soon. Dual wielding, shields, all that I don't mind, give it a test run. But please don't add in stamina.

I made a few calculations for the use of 1.9 armor in lotc. If you thought arrows were OP before, wait until you're 2 shot (for real this time) in full iron armor. Iron armor is bloody useless at high damage values, and considering (from my calculations) that an arrow can do up to (wood elf, 60% bow, power I, and I wasn't considering leather armor) 30 damage (15 hearts) on unarmored player, with full Iron armor it's still like 10 heart damage.

Shields in LOTC will become a BIG necessity, and I fear that anyone without them will have a huge problem in PVP. Diamond armor WILL have to return, and even Diamond armor is worse than Iron armor in 1.8 at those high damage values.

As stated and plugin makers are already working on it. CD timers can be changed on weapons. As with now swing speed on certain weapons (Custom weapons anyone?)

As with this it also helps clear up anyone using PvP enhanced click mods.

Look at the advantages towards this rather then disadvantages, Everything can bbe changed even damage values.

I think that shields are an extremely cool addition, pretty unique how they're used, but the cooldown reminds me too much of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and I'm not sure I would very much like it.

The cooldown will take much, much too long for people who previously enjoyed PvP to adapt to. If there's an option to disable it on our server, we should use said option.

Whenever I face Leric with his studded and power III bow in PvP.
