Cat Evocation 3728 Share Posted March 15, 2016 I highly recommend getting experience on Lord of the Craft on how a lot of the Lore works and how magic role playing is done and accomplished in our community here. If you wish to learn a magic I would highly suggest learning an arcane magic as they are easier to understand and learn before you delve into deeper and darker magics friend. WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Magic, like most notable things on this server (power, influence, money, skills, etc) takes time and patience to get! You'll need to find a teacher through role-play, and naturally they probably wont just teach some stranger. You'll need to befriend them and make them trust you. And remember, magic isnt everything. Even "mundane" things like farming, smithing, stewardship or just joining a military order (like the notruppen) can make for fun RP. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Argontum 153 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Like all the above said, you have to explore more in RP. Learn more about magic and develop your character more. However, necromancy isn't something you can go around in CT or even big cities and ask people "Hey, I'm interested in necromancy. Do you know of someone that can teach me?" And besides, your character has to know about necromancy ICly, otherwise it's meta-gaming. Also, you haven't been playing in this server for a long time, you still have so much to learn. As of necromancy, I don't know who can teach you, but for void and arcane magic many people RP those, you can easily find one, or look for others, such as druids and clerics. And one more thing, I'm sure the Nortruppen will execute you if they find out you are trying to learn necromancy, so good luck with that. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

KBR 2046 Share Posted March 15, 2016 As a Necromancer, I can tell you that it is a long journey. I spent almost a year working to get this magic, and even now I wonder if it was worth that time. A whole year, a year I could've spent on lots of other things. I love the the magic, but again a year is a long time. For a new player like you I would say the same a couple people above have said, go for an easier to learn magic that won't have you hunted down, like Druidism, or an evocation. Lhindir_ 3691 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Necromancy, like all magics, Is no small matter that can be achieved by oocly asking, First, You would need to find a necromancer in character, Even less likely that you would be taught without prior knowledge to a magic, as teachers teach only those who would play a necromancer right and maintain good rp.
