Laethis makes his way down the path upon the hill, descending until he reaches the city's center, standing within the square of Sanctuary. Within one hand, he holds the Scepter of the Maheral, resting at his side as he peers about the crowd. As they notice his presence, awaiting their silence, the crowd begins to quiet. Eventually, Laethis raises his scepter, his voice magically amplified as he begins to speak.

"Citizens of Celein, I come forward to you today to speak of a topic of great issue as of late. To be brief, today I reaffirm the removal of Xion from Celein made by High Magister Orsino Acal'elor, whilst acting as Hierarch during my time of illness.

With this being said, I offer a chance for all within Celein who still follow these ways. A chance at amnesty! Today, all followers of Xion or the cult known as the New Order have two elven days to submit themselves to myself, or another member of the government. If you do so, and promise to live a life of progress and peace, rather than the violent dogma these groups ascribe to, then you shall receive the amnesty we promise, and the protection of the state.

If we stand together against this threat, which has brought naught but violence to our peaceful city, we will continue to thrive as we have. Yet falter in this, or allow fear of the New Order and Xion to fill your hearts, and our path becomes rocky and difficult.

Come forward, and make the right choice, for the safety of all of us. The time for redemption is now."

With this, the elf stopped speaking, allowing any who might to come forward. Afterward, a number of scribes would document the speech that was given, posting copies of its words throughout Celein.

Garsto nods, "I doubt they will step forth with a crowd present."

Hauxir listened in, simply smiling at each statement.

The Herald Chrodraeos receives word of the proposal, scoffing as he reads the words.  "This man is he who leads a people so supposedly progressive?  I refuse to believe he so ignorantly meshes the prospects of Xionist ideals with the terrorism of these New Order massacres.  I shall hope the ways of the old lords keep our innocent and devout shrouded during this unjust manhunt.  Perhaps I must call upon a few rusty blades to snuff out this New Order's flame completely."

Sighs with disappointment as he listens to noble's words. He came to somewhat like this group called Xionist, even If he doesn't even know he's teachings properly nor he knew their members - or maybe he did, only he hasn't know it yet? Maybe it was because he saw nothing of their "evil working", but he saw a City that turns back on its citizens.

However he stood there amongst the crowd, watchful of citizen's reactions, silent.

"Cowards and cravenites inhabit the Celein hierarchy -- they bend to the will of either ignorance, the spurious Aspectist Wood Elves, or both!" Proclaims the godless Knight Provost.

Artimec of course did not hear Provost make that remark from his undisclosed location. He was instead lecturing a young naelurir dedicant who seemed to be trying rather hard to look like he was paying attention.

"Remember, young one. Pacifism is a false ideal, no druid who properly abides by the horned man's idealogy would ever be pacifist. Might makes right. This is why our faith spread like wildfire among our people, while debauchery like Xionism is forced into the shadows. Even the Canonists, cruel as some were, carved their place in this world."

Art snapped his fingers, causing his dozing off student to gasp and suddenly look up, re-focused.

"Any ideal that must remain in the shadows and cannot be taught publically for fear of persecution, that is a weak ideal. Ours is strong. Remember that, we must keep the godless down, in hiding where they belong."
