2nd of Snow's Maiden, 1556.

The Courlandic Mine

The rich minerals of the northerly mountain range of Oren had remains untapped into, until now.

The Iralis shaft of Courland allows miners to enter the mineral rich sub-surface of the north.

Miners from all over Valior are invited.

It is asked that miners either fill a quota in minerals, or they pay an up front payment.

More details on a mining permit maybe obtained from His Grace, Aleksander.

Rozaliya lofts an eyebrow at the news, thinking of all the untapped gold, iron, and more. They'd fetch an excellent price she would think to herself while on her way to speak to the Duke about payment details.

'They better not be digging near my mountains' Jan would think to himself. 'they're truly the dwarves of the North.'

Aleksander would have no need to dig near the Duchy of Carnatia, the great barren field of the north.

Jan would look over his barren field, smiling at its rough and savage beauty, not whining like his more Southren accustomed neighbors.

Aleksander would look over his densely populated city, smiling at its architectural elegance and layout, not complaining like his less able northern neighbours.

Would look over a piece of art documenting how the elegant man's forces of over fifteen had been defeated by four men.

Would look over a piece of art depicting the military force of Carnatia, a blank piece of white paper.

Old Richard Halmund would look down from the seven skies, shaking his head as the toddler Dukes bicker.

Looks over at 'the great barren field of the north' once the land of the proud Cherckassians, once the place that held his home until the raevirs came...
