The attack of the undead caused much destruction and turmoil within the Capital of Al-Wakhrah, who would have known a nether portal existed within the supposed Tomb of St.Lucien? The majority of the city stood in ruin, the only thing unscathed being the blessed Great Masjid whilst great wizards and magic users manage to temporarily seal the nether portal. During this time, the Sultan of Al-Wakhrah called for an immediate evacuation, the city and nearby land holdings deemed too unsafe to live within until the portal was officially dealt with. The citizens and army began to pile upon the great ships Khalestine built in secret. This was both a joyous and saddening day, as the city and lands of Al-Wakhrah was being abandoned and destroyed so that the Farfolk people might find homeage elsewhere. A place free from a tyrannical and racist rule of a false king. A place of peace, prosperity, and beauty. They were to search for the ancient lands of Haria, the great and mythical lands the farfolk would once again walk upon. As the good people of Al Wakhrah piled onto the ship's, two great battleships appeared out of the distance, appearing to be quite a sight indeed. The Malik and The Ceto, two powerful battleships made in similarity to one another, made to utterly pulverise whatever lay within its path. Containing almost 30 ballista,2 trebs and 7 catapults, the battleships were obviously a dual force you did not wish to reckon with. A great number of workers and soldiers worked tirelessly to strip down the Great Masjid brick by brick to rebuild it elsewhere. It had been done in Al-Dirahk and now to Al-Wakhrah. The new Masjid would grow again and again each time the Farfolk had to move. When all the supplies and citizens were officially on board all the ships, the fleet of ships began its journey out to sea. Every home was checked beforehand to ensure no one was left behind, including the dead. Their bodies would be buried elsewhere. As the battleships finally get into proper position and allow for the other ships to get further out to sea, they begin their bombardment on the city of Al-Wakhrah. Their volley of stones and arrows mask the sky as they pelted the once jeweled city of the south to utter dust, ensuring the undead had no way of returning. They continued for hours, until the great walls crumbled. The city was left to ruin, no one would be able to claim the jewel of the south now. “Onwards, to the promised lands!” The rest of the fleet then begin their trip, in search for new lands to inhabit. Only a handful farfolk stayed behind, to fulfill a personal endeavour.
AlmondTree 418 Share Posted May 9, 2016 "I should have been on that ship..I should..I should have been on that ship with family..look now..cursed and miserable. I will miss you but you will not suffer the oppression anymore. Allah walks with us all but I am only alone now." Ceto would say, hearing of the sad news. (( One day, one night. ))

Imam Faiz Kharadeen 3167 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Faiz Kharadeen sighs as he sits within a cabin within The Malik, looking out the small window at the remnants of Al-Wakhrah. As it goes out of view, he then sits down beside his wife Arabella, smiling kindly to her as they await to reach land. "Things should be easier now.. Allah guides us afterall.." colovian fur 8360 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Spoiler Elsewhere... In the deserts of Khalestine, a certain Qalasheen awoke to the sounds of crumbling, crashing, and destruction. He hadn't returned to Al Wakrah in years, not since the Qali Spring. The worn Qalasheen knew he'd be slain by the Kharadeens if he set foot into their city after the fate of Malik Kharadeen at the hands of this Vander. The One eyed wonder looked around frantically, gathering his belongings in two arms in a fit of paranoia, before looking to to the plume of dust in the distance. For hours, the Qali took the trip back through the desert to what was once his home, or at least he thought. The demolished city was simply a remnant of what Adil grew to love, and eventually hate. He climbed atop rubble hills, the siege fire long over and the ships a dot in the distance. A wave of memories loomed over the Qali; be it adventures with Aisha, to delivering justice as a Jundi of the Mubarizun, from Hallowvale Champion and Vandoria, Rajiya, to traitor freedom fighter and exiled. He stared off at the ships, and pronounced: "They go and forget Adil and destroy Rilkor's Masterwork, this could have housed thousands of Avarian refugees. What a bunch of jerks! They're probably racist bigots or something!"
Faunherer 44 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Bahadir, no longer shaken by the hours of shelling, emerges from the hut across the river of the old city. Gazing across the narrow river to al-Wakhrah, he sees nothing. The grand, impenetrable walls. The towering gatehouse. The opulent Masjid. All gone. Reduced to dust and rubble. Only part of the far coastal tower remains, though precariously balanced on three of its walls. He meanders his way across the stream, climbing the dune of sand that was once the city center. From this vantage point, he can see the full scope of the city's destruction. Sandstone and clay shards scattered everywhere. Dust and sand whipped into a torrent above, settling heavily now upon the ruins. He lets out a weary sigh. "The Jewel of the South is shattered. What was once sand returns to sand. Inshallah." Beyond the ruins, in the crystal blue sea beside Khalestine, the Qali fleet sails southward--the way Allah has always led them.
Prieur 8 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Unlike many there is no sign of sadness or grief on the face of Imam Faiz Iben Quhaffah as he boards the ships. He unlike many had seen the doom of the city coming as the infidels of always shall look on the chosen people of Allah with hatred and envy. The grande scheme of the Orens to topple our city but these worshippers of the shai'tan cannot topple our faith in him whom is eternal. Allah guides us and he let the destruction of our city happen as to lead us to his promised land. Him whom be our shepard and our lord wills it and he is great. "Subhanallah." The imam shouts to the sky as he leads the prayer on the deck of the Ceto.
