KBR 2046 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I realized after a month that this server is something that is hard to escape from even if all I do is run in circles and parkour. I never thought it would come to this, but the time has come for me to depart. I have been on LoTC for about two years, and every day after school I would come up to my room and log onto LoTC. Recently, I have lost that urge to get on, my will to play. It pains me to say it, it really does, and I have tried to ignore it for awhile now, but why should I continue to play something I no longer enjoy? In my two years, I have accomplished many things that seemed like a dream to me when I joined the server, the first of these is becoming a Necromancer. When I met Parkins and his pack of ghouls, I was immediately interested in knowing what magic could do this, after I found out it was Necromancy, I did what most new players do and asked over PMs, keep in mind I will still very new at the time. I quickly realized that this wouldn’t work, so I set out on my journey to learn this magic. After a year of hard work, I had accomplished my goal. The minute Aerial told me to write the app, I smiled the biggest smile I think I have ever smiled. I had realized Necromancy was inactive before this, but I didn’t understand why until I got it. Playing the villain with no other options gets boring, and I tried to play different characters but I never loved them the same as Faenor, even if he got boring every once and awhile. Now I know there are ways to make villainy not boring, but even then if you're a Necromancer you don’t have that many options. And I had one planned, but I never got around to it and now I doubt I ever will. Enough with my stories though, I won’t will just get straight to my goodbye messages.
