The profession of cooking has literally become the biggest grind on LOTC now. In order to even make EDIBLE bread, you need to be a fair chef. Which means if you intend to grind out stale bread, you will have thousands of stale bread that does NOTHING. THEN, you can go an make apple bread before you can even make regular bread? Im just trying to wrap my head around all this and how it is even a good thing and a valid thing.

Correct, but It's the only way to make chef a useful proffesion. there's alot of chefs around, you need to work for your bread now, quite literally.

There's a difference between work, and working for numerous levels with nothing to show for

Stale bread? Is that a 1.9 thing? Haven't been online to see it yet.

I meant work. Not grind chef, rather work and get mina to pay other chefs for food. go to resource island and get fruit. farm carrots and potatos, instead of just wheat. be a breeder and kill cows, pigs, chickens and rabbits. you can just ask for handouts. there's alot of ways to get food, if you click out of the 'dough products' section you used to camp in while the server was in 1.8.

I just looked at it in-game. Never agreed with it, everyone can basically make food that is enough to sustain you. Right now it's hard to even make simplest of nutrition and honestly with food being such a vital part I do not feel that it should be so hard to make things. Should be tweaked.

THIS IS AGOOD DO NOT CHANGE PLEASE

You can't even fathom how bad the profession was before. It's the exact same grind as it's always been (unless you used fondue to glitch ofc!!!!!), I've made over 1,000,000 bread just to get to aengulic.

You can make apple bread before regular bread. though you can't make extremly high quality, nutrious bread that could keep you healthy without eating anything else bread BEFORE apple bread.

Not sure what the min level for butter is since the new update but that's a good way to level chef p fast coming from an Adept.

Everyone can make stale bread, and it's fixed now. You can eat stale bread and get full hunger (before there was a bug that stopped you from gettin full hunger). I also adding more hunger for stale bread.

As for the question about why you can make apple bread before normal bread, it's because apple bread is more expensive than normal bread, and I want to leave ways for crap chefs to be able to make average food. It's just more expensive.
