Don't grind if you don't enjoy it! Anyone unwilling to put in the necessary amount of effort shouldn't even be bothering with grinding in the first place. I don't care that people can get xp for doing tasks, but I would much rather have ranks describe how accomplished you are instead of how skilled. Dragonslayerelf 654 Share Posted July 29, 2016 I personally think that skills should work sort of in the same manner as magic, taught by like a masterful carpenter through rp, and then you could rp carving stairs instead of grinding 1,000,000,000 stairs to get to adept but hey, I'm biased cus I hate grinding w/ a passion and prefer to type my heart out. A skill wipe will just result in a week of LOTC's main grinders NOT RPING as they make up for lost time and get back up to where they were in the space of a week or so.
