I've been considering taking up requests again and your idea of 'screw it I'll make things and people will like them or not Idc' is very inspiring, tell me how does it feel and should I be scared?

1. I'm a horrifically unreliable person, even toward myself. Sometimes I just stop engaging in a hobby of mine just to pursue other things, even if that other thing is just playing a  game instead.

2. Not at all! I'm having lots of fun, but that's also coming from someone who hardly ever finishes their art. I'm never entirely happy with the end result of any of my pieces, so saying 'screw it' takes a large load off me.

 

I'll be getting back to work on requests soon!

I'm very similar, but at the same time I've begun learning to be happy with pieces aka sketches even if they're not 'finished' or 'clean' and even 'efficient,' which for a long time I had trouble with due to my still-present perfectionism. I couldn't handle taking a break for that long because I simply enjoy drawing too much, I actually use art to procrastinate. =') Have fun and good luck!!!
