Deep Thoughts- Olympic Edition

Just a few things I though of. I may continue making these if they're well received.

#1- Why does McDonald's advertise and sponsor the Olympics when they're widely known as one of the causes of obesity in America?

#2- Why do only international companies advertise during the Olympics? I mean, I know it's an international event, but wouldn't it be better if companies in one country advertised, to get their name global?

#3- Why is the ski jump still a thing if people die all the time from it? Also, bobsledding always cracked me up because they look really derpy to me for some reason. I would watch a bobsledding event for hours if it had really jumpy cuts and no editing.

#1 - Advertisement

#2 - Advertisement costs and international attendance. Olympics are a big thing; non globalists plebs don't get advertising rights.

#3 - People die from a lot of things, but they're still fine.

Skiing is the best sport, that's why. It's one of the few sports I actively watch and stay updated on. Ski jumping is one of the more interesting varieties too! It's all about views, man.

Also, wouldn't say that people die from ski jumping all the time. Winter sports are a national treasure here and I can't remember hearing about a ski jumping fatality. Though there are some nasty accidents when they first **** up.

No, that's not how that works. The first sperm to get to the egg isn't the one that fertilizes it. There is a mucus barrier that separates the uterus and the sperm, and when sperm interacts with it, it begins to weaken enough for the sperm to get through. So the first sperms are basically cannon fodder, and middle of the pack sperms should have the best chance of fertilization.
