Aether is literally useless

You guys should put a disclaimer for anyone that is going to donate Aether letting them know that literally any perk worth donating for is broken.

 

 

Also, when are these perks going to be fixed.

 

You know /trail, mypets, or soul pillars which are a pretty big deal.

 

Also is it to late for me to request a refund. Just kidding, fix this **** though for real.

 

 

P.S. if you're reading this and thinking about donating for the perks don't do it because chances are the perk you want doesn't actually work.

Yeah, and considering VIP ss pillars aren't broken they were removed because Eula it's kind of false advertising at that point.

I've been aether for a really long time now, and while I'm not too buggered by the fact there are little in the way of systems offered at this level in the way of cosmetic perks or otherwise, I do wish the ones offered worked at least. No real rush, rather have the new major systems finished and added in but when someone has time could they take a look at mypet/trails, and I think the summon undead horse one is bugged as well.

Soulstone pillars are not listed as a VIP perk at this time. If you type /vip perks in-game you can see that it has not been listed in a long time.

Yes that is the idea. Mojang is adverse to the idea of Minecraft communities using the term donations because they imply no guaranteed return for a payment. And because according to their book a donation is not a donation if you get something in return (which isn't really wrong).

 

This is why we host a store with payments. We are not permitted to use the term donations & rewards.

Either way, you have brought to my attention a critical issue which I will be working to resolve with the development team this month. After the EULA changes & 1.10 had seen most of our systems entirely overhauled there are many perks that simply do not work. We have spent a great amount of time trying to make sure that as many perks were fixed as possible, but missed a few of the higher up ones.

Just remove the graphic and put text in. Or remove that page entirely. Or put "Look ingame". What you have currently is pretty false advertising. I've seen this excuse made multiple times, but just do something about it, even if it looks 'less pretty'.

Thanks for getting back to us on this Telanir, but like I said personally I'd rather see the major systems you guys have been talking about replacing get done, unless you think you guys can fix some of these without too much time being required. Heck, I kind of question if some like mypets can even be fixed, at this point its so broken you have to have a staff member use a mypets admin command to give you the desired pet as you can't tame things like polar bears using the built in method. And even if you do, you can't give the polar bear the ride perk as it has no skill trees where most others on lotc have I think just ride and 1 other perhaps.

Eh, there is a difference between donation with rewards and a purchase. It's simply with a donation you have no legal expectation to receive the reward.
