HORSE FESTIVAL!

 

 

On a warm day in Haria, Iris and Sofia were taking care of the horses. Grooming them and feeding them. Sofia hummed a small cheery song as she happily groomed a black stallion. Iris smiled at Sofia as she hold the bucket of oats for a mare in the next stall. “You really like horses as much as I do, don’t you Sofia?”

“Mhm!” Sofia answered in a happy voice, wrapping her arms around the stallion’s neck, giving him a light hug, “I wish everyone could love them as much too!”

Iris giggled lightly and rubbed the mare between the ears, “Well… why don’t we hold a festival? One where we could ride and race horses?”

Sofia’s eyes lit up as she jumped excitedly. “Really? Can we?!”

Iris giggled again and nodded, “Yes, let’s hold a horse festival.”

 

 

Open Stables

During this event, the stables shall be open to the public, horses will be shown and labeled for sale.  All horses in the stables will be for sale and will be priced according to their speeds, no horse shall be left unmarked, this allows militaries and levies to come buy horses in bulk in rare opportunity!  

 

Events

• SteepleChase - A long race full of ditches, mud pits, large jumps, and of course water jumps!  These all have red stone lights which will alert the watchers if you knock down a pole, which will deduct points, get the least amount of points to win!  20 Mina Entry Fee.

• All Terrain Race - Brave waters, mud, and grass to race other people and beat the clock to show that you are the best of the land!  We will subsection horses so it is fair. 20 Mina Entry Fee.

• Jousting - Everyone skilled with a lance can come try to best the other to show who is the best in the land!  20 Mina Entry Fee.

• Apple Bobbing - Come one come all, all of those young ones can come and sink their teeth into an apple to try and get the golden apple and win a plush!

• Horse Shoe Toss - Everyone can come toss a shoe to see who has the best aim!

• Auctions - Come view our best horses and bid for them!  We will hold this at the very end of the festival! (Currently for auction, 2 19 speeds, 2 18 speeds) 

• Pony Rides - For the children to enjoy during the switch of events we will have ponies for the young children to ride!

 

Prizes

1st Place- Gold Cup prize and 200 mina

2nd Place- Silver Cup prize and150 Mina

3rd Place- Bronze Cup prize 75 Mina
