Body Type:

Short and burly, with a thick rectangular torso and very short appendages. (Pretty much a dwarf)

Hair:

Tark sports a Mohawk, spiked up with pig grease, and a massive unkempt beard. The color of his hair is a few different shades of dark brown, and riddled with greenery or any other debris that may have gotten tangled in.

Skin Tone:

After spending much of his time in the Treebeard Forest, Hefruth, Tark has developed much more of a tan than most dwarves.  This tan, along with his Forest Dwarf blood, gives him an almost mocha colored complexion.

He is also generally covered in a thin layer of dirt and soot, refusing to bathe himself ever.  This causes him to reek of mold and fungus.

Personality:

Tark comes off as snotty due to his quiet tone and constant passive aggressive comments. But once he warms up to someone he is a great friend and incredibly loyal.

Being a breeder Tark has a strong connection with animals and cannot stand to see any harm come to them. If so, he goes into a fit of rage destroying whatever is bringing pain upon an innocent animal.

Inventory:

Tark, being of the Chef profession, always has a bounty of food with him.  Making sure to feed any hungry dwarves he runs into. He also carries a quiver of arrows and a short bow, carved from a dark oak stave. Tendrils of greenery wrap around the bow giving it an overgrown look matching Tark’s appearance.  Another weapon Tark keeps on him is his Ferum battleaxe, often dangling from it’s sheathe attached to the quiver on his back.

Tark rarely engages in a fight using his battleaxe, because he is much more efficient with a bow. He only has the battleaxe on him in case he runs out of arrows, in which case he charges at the enemy, flailing it about without any accuracy.

Biography:

The oldest to date text on Tark’s family only go back to the region of Vailor.  As for the conception of Tark, after the Grand King of the Dwarves was lost at sea in 1516, Lanni and Brindle Treebeard came to the realization that all life is fleeting &  decided they wanted to extend their bloodline.  Lanni gave birth to Tark in the year 1518, but they quickly regretted that decision when a civil war amongst dwarves broke out.  Being raised during wartime molded Tark into the Dwarf he is today giving him sufficient training with a bow.  When the war was over, the remaining members of the clan, along with many other passive dwarves, delved deep into the caves to hide from the taint.  When it was safe they emerged and traveled to the lands of Axios.
Tark arrived in Axios, but was separated from his parents during the voyage.  Tark spent the next few years searching for his parents throughout the Island of Tahn.  But, because he was now an adult dwarf he had to start his life so he put his small amount of skill with an axe to use by working in a lumber yard.

Ambitions:

Lanni and Brindle often spoke of the Grand King, Balek Irongut, as a fair and honest ruler.  Because of this Balek became Tark’s idol.  Although, Tark never met the King, many stories of great battles and adventures were told throughout the Civil War.  These tales shaped his idea of the type of dwarf he aspired to be.
Urguanian Legion

After searching for his parent’s, Tark finally gave up, and decided to begin his new life in Axios.  Upon his arrival in the grand capital, Kal’Nikaer, He was approached by an older battle-worn dwarf, cladden in Legion armor. He explained that any Dwarf living in Urguan has the duty to serve the kingdom any way they can.  Tark, reminded of his days during the war, instantly took interest in the dwarf’s statement, with the knowledge that his bow training could aid in fights. The older Dwarf offered Tark a position in the military and he accepted graciously.

Treebeard Clan

Tark’s commitment was incredibly steadfast, spending countless hours training, doing gate duty, and patrolling the city. He decided to put some of this ambition towards honoring his parents and reviving the once great Treebeard clan. He approached a few other forest dwarves in urguan and eventually they gathered their numbers in a grove outside the capital, now known as the Treebeard settlement of Hefruth.

Tark’s commitment to the Legion prevented him from claiming the title of clan father, not that he wanted it. So he allowed a much older and wiser Dwarf, Grojak Treebeard, to run the clan.  Although, Tark still does anything he can to improve the clan. Such as recruiting any dwarves he sees fit & providing sustenance to all the citizens of Hefruth.
