On Administrative Misconduct

It's surprising that this server has gotten so crooked in recent years, once upon a time I scoffed at the thought that the Admins could truly inhibit the server's potential, I know many of us still do reject this thought, albeit subliminally. We're all too scared to expose the truth because we know it seems like these problems aren't relevant to our own actions or our experiences, it simply doesn't pertain to our doings on the server so why should it matter to us? I could rant on and on about how much this astounds me, but to save time I will shut up about the utter snakery and mind-boggling politics of the current staff. For now, let this message sink in: What would you do for GM or Admin presuming it was offered to you on a silver platter at the cost of a valuable friend?

Every decision the Administration currently makes is under fire for good reason, they don't mind breaking past precedents and establishing new procedures that benefit themselves and their clique. People legitimately stab each other in the back over these circumstances, something that even resulted in my removal because Parion and I were both pitted against each other through slander and lies. Manipulation has not stopped since then, and I doubt it ever will. The dishonesty runs too far now to shift direction towards a more positive light -- but there are still some things that are fixable. The reckless actions of the current admins confound me but I know that while their ideas are influenced negatively there is a far deeper problem that reaches into the heart of a supremacist code that is so far reaching that it still lives on to this day.

Pyro was just removed despite being suspended for alleged abrasiveness, he was given no examples of what exacttly he did or who reported him because the Admins wanted to "protect" the reporter's identity. This, keep in mind, follows their hasty removal of Gucko from the ET on the faux account of his blacklist that he got repealed nearly a year ago. Until Josh involved himself in the matter Pyro was not going to be removed in the first place, but it seems that once again there is a bone to pick between the two because of clique mentality. The origin of the removal remains a mystery.

I don't appreciate GMs being removed and shat on over group differences, nor do I appreciate the profound lack of information presented. Pyro wasn't allowed to defend himself, and I find it completely disrespectful that management would act on something so blatantly unfounded. I believe it's prudent that Thomas should approach this situation and reconsider, there has to be far more clarity regarding the scenario. These circumstances are both incredibly questionable and I hope some light might be shed on the incident. I don't believe it's right that the admins condone this behavior, neither was I under the impression that they themselves partook in it. I don't appreciate GMs and players being singled out and shat on by people who assume that their authority should triumph over the facts. It's not the community that needs to adjust to the admins, but the complete opposite, and I earnestly believe that no matter the source of the problem we all deserve an honest explanation to be given to us.

Sincerely, Concerned Former GM

ThatPyroDude was up for removal before Josh involved himself within the management of a team. Due to some of ThatPyroDude's behaviour, we brought him in for a meeting. During this meeting Thomas and I came to the agreement that we would not remove at this time following an improvement in his interaction with some of the playerbase. I will not go into the detailed of what occurred as it falls not in my position to do so. ThatPyroDude was informed that an improvement in behaviour was expected and if there was not one, then his position on the team would be re-evaluated.

In short, what you say is far from the truth. I do believe you have been misinformed.

Maybe people wouldn't be "misinformed" if they were told what was happening. "Some" and "behavior" don't tell me what I need to know, just what you want me to believe.

The irony is real. When you became head of the ET team some time ago, one of the first things you did was remove me, with zero evidence whatsoever. When I asked for it, you and Bagley both refused to hand it over. Karma's a b**** pal.

Nah, you were removed for evidence of inactivity and potential abuse. You lacked evidence in both your building and event logs and thus you were removed. Thanks for bringing up an incident from a year ago. :)

I see you've resorted to making up facts. Let me refresh your memory.

I was an actor, building shouldn't have been taken into account. And, if I was inactive, a simple skype message would have solved that, although I have no recollection of such a thing.

Furthermore, since when has potential abuse been a reason for removing someone? Can you perhaps read my mind? By your logic, the removal of Pyro is completely appropriate, because he was potentially toxic, and had potential for abuse, just as "I" did. lol

At the time of my removal, your response was that I had abused, yet now you say "potential" abuse. Sounds like you lacked evidence.

Bringing it up now, because you're crying about a similar event now :^)

Gets my neurons firing. You seem mad dude, go outside and grab a tea. Yes, you got removed from the ET for inactivity. No, a simple Skype message wouldn't of fixed it whatsoever since you had been for months up until that point and we wanted new blood in the ET. Continue to gripe about the unfairness of it all if you'd like, but the circumstances aren't even alike. Unless you're saying that you were removed for toxicity much like Pyro?

Indeed, I am the one trying to start a witch hunt on the forums haha nt - I just think it's funny that you're saying it's inactivity now when back then it was "potential" abuse.

And no, if you would care to read your OG post you were complaining that zero evidence was given for his removal. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy in you saying that when you did the same thing to me, and potentially others. Have a nice day.
