Make An Orc Week #1

More often than not, people are hesitant to make orcish characters due to the fear of playing such a race, the lack of a skin, or or roleplay, and so on. I'd like to remedy this situation by creating the first Make an Orc Week. Essentially what I hope to do is to facilitate new orcs and players into orcish culture and help to dispel a lot of the misconceptions. 

 

So, for the next week, I'll host events everyday, and essentially provide help to anyone curious on making an orc or wishes to know anymore about their culture,lore, or history. Even if you don't end up making an orc, you can come to the city(San'Torr), and participate in the events regardless of race. 

 

I have skins for anyone if they need one, and if anyone needs any sort of character fleshing out, simply ask me. 

 

Also, I'd like to know what aspects of orcish culture interest you in hopes to tailor more events around those things. Either message me on Skype at terrence.connors1 or post here.

Making an Orc was the most rewarding experience I could have made during my earlier time on the server, and paved the way for all of the progression I made.

 

For the most part this was due to the community being a lot more relaxed and loyal to one another than what I had experienced elsewhere, and the atmosphere of the culture allows you to do anything with the right amount of passion and determination.

 

If you're particularly legendary you can even attain the status of a Greater Ancestral Spirit, those of the deceased pantheon who the Orcs look to when forming new clans.

Having played a human for so long, i've become interested in trying something new. I thought since the orcs could use some people i'd like to possibly try and make a character. The issue is I lack any decent information and knowledge on the orc culture, language, and also I don't have a skin.

Allow me to say this. If you are on the fence of choosing an orc... DO IT. Choosing to create a goblin back in June was a good choice. Divine is a powerful orc and will help you get started.

Playing an honorary Orc was an amazing experience RPLY and OOCLY. I got to meet some great people that I would have otherwise never met should I not dared myself to try and get into another player-base. Nowadays, I would like to try and perhaps get back into the Orcs, though I lack really anything to try and work with, name, skin, etc etc. If anybody could hit me up and try to give me a hand, I'd appreciate it.
