A Response to the Lotharic Heretics

The Church declares the Confessions of the Lotharic Communion to be heresy and a clear misinterpretation of scripture, as well as negligent of Church history. The Pontiff and his Holy Synod, along with the Ecclesiastical Estate as a whole, rebuffs these ‘Confessions’ and denies their legitimacy, both in scriptural backing and in theological reasoning.

On Baptism:

The Canon Church does not reject Baptism. It is within the Dogma and Principles of the Church that Baptism is a Sacrament. To state otherwise is foolish, and clearly to bring doubt and ignorance upon Humanity. There is no ‘return’ to something that is already practiced by the entirety of the Canonist Church. Furthermore, the rumor that baptisms have been denied to the faithful is an utterly false and groundless attack upon the Church.

 

On the Iconostasis

The addition of the Iconostasis would be arbitrary. There is no reference to such Human-Creation, nor anything alluding to it. The addition of such would be to impose falsehoods upon the eyes of the Faith.

 

Further, at no point in the millennia of Church History has there ever been a reference to such abomination. If it were deemed so necessary to protect the Flock and Word of God, then the Prophets would have parted this knowledge upon us. Or the Diarchy of Evaritus and Clements would have shown us this path.

 

It is neither in Scripture nor Tradition.

 

 

On the Sanctity of Matrimony

It is within their confession in regard marriage where the Lotharic Communion demonstrates its base understanding of the Holy Scrolls. The Lotharic Communion, in their lessened knowledge has not understood who Harren is.

 

“As the King of Edel was wed upon the Holy grounds of God by his faithful Harren, so too shall each and every faithful person who seeks the sanctity of marriage be bound to one another before the Holy tabernacle.” -The Krakow Confessions

 

Harren is not Faithful. Harren slew Godwein, Harren rejected the Horn and Laurel. Harren, who beckoned the King of Edel to the ruins of the Holy City only to be killed. Joren, was never able to be wed because he was trapped by Harren. The Lotharic Communion acts as Harren and beckons the faithful to the Holy City, only to be entrapped and slain by those who are impure. Only those of impious origin would lead the flock of Humanity so far from the truth, and if a mistake, be so ignorant themselves as to make such a critical error in the interpretation of our scripture.

 

“So Harren persisted in his sin, and was greatly pleased to live without the harrying of his Lord or the Aengul Artifai. And again, the apostate raised an army, and they went into Godwin’s kingdom of Aaun, and they sacked a great many villages, and the disordered armies of Godwin could not stop the assault. And finally, Harren went into the keep of his own brother, and slew him beneath his throne.”- The Scrolls of Gospel, Scattering 9

The Lotharic Communion has called the Apostate, kinslayer, and the first Man to marry mix-blood, Faithful. Be warned, to those who follow the Lotharic Communion, for as Harren led the King of Edel and his Court into the Holy City under the guise of holiness, so to shall the Communion lead you into a trap of their own making,  to be caged like a beast and slaughtered for naught

 

 

On the Sanctity of Armaments

While the blade of Owyn is blessed and a symbol of Holiness. This does not mean that all weapons must be blessed. If this were the case, God would have commanded that all blades be blessed and the Army which Owyn led would have all had blades of most importance. The blade is a call to pick up the sword in the name of God and to do so would be a holy thing indeed.

 

If all weapons of Man were meant to be sanctified, why is it that Prophet Godfrey and Prophet Sigismund did not bless the blades of their Armies when fighting heresies, why is so, that the righteous crusaders of the Tarcharian Crusades went not into battle with blades blessed, but with ordinary steel that they might have possessed. Once again, in so far as a weapon is used in right cause and against the heathen, they are in God’s service surely. To base once principles on so trivial a difference truly shows ill for this Lotharic Communion and their lack of any effectual knowledge upon the Canon and it’s teachings.

 

 

On the Rite of Confession

And even as My holiest city was sacred in spite of Harren’s rejection, it is spoiled by the blood of kin. Thou betrayest man with thy wrath, and once again Horen’s son are divided." The idea that one must confess before attending Mass is simply misguided. After hearing the Word of God does Owyn recognize his wrong doing and ask for forgiveness. One must come to the realisation that what they did is sinful before confessing. And like Owyn, one may still hear the Word of God, even though they have not confessed.

 

 

 

 

 

On the Rite of Priesthood

The Church of the Canon is now, more than ever a bastion of the Faith. The Church of the Canon has worked tirelessly to secure a future for Humanity which includes the Faith.

 

If what the Lothars say is true, and the Church of the Canon has fallen to Sloth, and this has caused falsehoods to rise, we must ask ourselves what hath recently arisen?

 

Only one conclusion can be made, if they believe the Church is Slothful then the Lotharic Church is said falsehood.

 

It is the Church of the Canon, in it’s great expanse that has been actively uniting the Spirit of Humanity. The Lotharic Communion hath used great Political Strife to launch their heresies. By doing so, they have split Man’s Spirit, while his Body was under threat.

 

 

 

 

 

On the Ashen Urns

The Church of the Canon is aghast at the baseless slander. The accusation of disregarding Ashen Urns is incorrect.The Ashen Urns remain in the care of the priories and Churches of the Canonist Faith.

 

On the Pontifical Corruption

The Church of the Canon holds that the Pontiff is in fact fallible, born during the days of Everard II and renewed under Everard III.  On the matter of corruption itself, the errant Theodosius overstepped the binding of previous Ecclesiastical Councils (see Felsen I and Luciensport III), the Diet of Metz, and various Bulls. Theodosius II, under the pretense of Pontifical Infallibility (which in itself is heretical), went forth and brought ill-will upon the Church and the priests. He overstepped the bounds of his Synod and ignored the wishes of his advisers. In his own desire for personal power, for fame and his name in the place of the history books, he foolishly acted on his own accord by excommunicating an Emperor, exerting an attempt at control over the Metropolitanate of Johannesburg, and a cutting the relations between the Imperial and Ecclesiastical Estates.

 

The call for an election, made by ordained priests of the Canon and not the Emperor, was completely just and was an attempt by the clergy to reassert their rights, their free-will, and the good state of the Church. His tyrannous actions were corrupt in themselves and he, in retrospect was not elected legally. It is required that a minimum of three cardinals convene to vote; Yaroslav and his compatriot Luminous Rothgard hurried the election and proclaimed Yaroslav as Theodosius II before any opposition or other electors had arrived. In this, the election was illegal. However, the Church recognizes his brief reign and, with it, his immense corruption.

 

 

On the matter of the High Pontiff

And he entrusted to them the Word of God, the Virtue and the Spirit, and admonished them to instruct their brethren in the path of holiness.” -Scroll of Gospel, Silence 2

 

The Pontificate represents the head of the faith which was an anointed role by Owyn who was tasked to do it by God. A formal head was anointed as to lead the flock in the times of silence. The station of the pontificate is reaffirmed multiple times. The Prophet Godfrey reaffirmed the Pontificate by anointing sole heads of the faith.  To reject the station of the pontificate is to reject Prophet Godfrey.

 

 

 

 

 

On the  Corruption of God’s Word

The Word of God has been entrusted on the Immaculate Throne as to guide the Flock during the Time of Silence. The formation of the High Pontiff otherwise known as the High Priesthood was a task handed down from God to Owyn. The inception of the Pontificate is not a mortal idea, but a divine one.

 

 

On Innovation

The innovation of the faith refers to the scripture. It is clear that the institution of the Church may evolve. It was Prophet Sigismund who established the Holy Synod to anoint a Pontiff. To claim that Bishops, Priests and monks as the only part of the priesthood would be to reject the priesthood of Evaritus and Clements who bore the title High Priest. High Priest is equivalent to High Pontiff, it simply is change on the name. To claim that no innovation extends into the institution of the Church would be to reject Bishops and the Lotharic hierarchy. Bishops could not exist during the time the first priesthood was formed as there are no references to dioceses or Bishops. The Faith was not organized enough yet for the formation of dioceses and Bishops.

We, the Church of the Canon have cut through the facade of this false faith. They demonstrate base knowledge of the Holy Scrolls yet hold the Scrolls high.  They do not recognize the tradition of the Faith that has been passed down since the Prophet Owyn. They reject the Prophets of Godfrey and Siegemund by rejecting the station of the Pontiff.

 

We, the Church of the Canon do see the Lotharic Communion as leading the Flock of Man away from God. We dub these Schismatics the Harrenites, as they hold Harren the kinslayer, elf-wedder,  Father of Impure blood and Apostate as Faithful.  

 

In the end, the Lotharic Communion is comprised of vengeful men who seek to avenge a man who was rejected from the Pontificate for corruption, incompetence and sin.  

 

We beckon all Men to see through the facade of false faith and to rejoin the Church of the Canon.
