Not since the days of the Blessed King Vydra has a schism divided humanity to such a great extent. In order that the Sons of Horen may unite in the face of heresy without bloodshed, and enjoy tranquility among our peoples, We, the Holy Pontificate of the Church of the Canon, hereby welcome the Kingdom of the Westerlands with the warm embrace of GOD’s love. In recognizing that the schism was a deterrent to the Church of the Canon, we recognize the intentions of the Westerlands. Yet the time for Schism is over, it is time for a new day of Canonism.

WE IN THE WESTERLANDS SWEAR

• To end the Owynist Schism and return to the Canonist Church

• To remain faithful to the Canonist Church and it’s true teaching, whilst following the word of Owyn.   

• To obstruct and condemn heresies within their holdings.   

• To guarantee free movement to Priests of the Canon within their holdings and to Permit free travel of Canonist priests within their Lordships.    

• To offer them lodgings, and promise them safe passage.   

• To rally to the aid of the Church should they be threatened by heretic or pagan.

THE PONTIFICATE GUARANTEES

• To create the Canonist Sect of Owynism, headed by the Archbishop of the Westerlands.

• To allow the Canonist Sect of Owynism to practice so long it does not interfere with the teachings of Canonism.

• To rally to the aid of the Westerlands should they be threatened by heretic or pagan.
