As word reaches the Grand King of the axeman king’s slander of his people, he quickly gathers the dwarves and citizens within the lands of Urguan to entrance of the city of Kal’Omith. As he stands amongst his people, he awaits for silence from the hustling and bustling of the large crowd, before beginning to speak.

Dwedmar, and citizens of Urguan alike, the Norlandic swine have the audacity to speak ill of our people, our nation, that is built upon the values of honour, diligence and justice. Yemekar and the Brathmordahkin chose us as his followers, to help rid the world of evil and horror. As we did when we destroyed the most evil empire known to the descendant races, along with the help of our allies. Did we cower or hide when faced with the brink of extinction? Nay. We fought for our lives, for our children's lives, for our freedom, for their freedom. We fought, we won, whilst the Norlandic ilk suckled at the breasts of the very empire which had sought to destroy us all prior. We may live underground, but our presence in Axios is large, we do not run from the face of tyranny or evil, we fight, so that we can seek a better world, a world rid of these raiders of unjustice.

To claim we denied peace and ceasefire is folly, when we offered the Norlandic swine peace, twice they denied us, once for their Prince’s own pride, and second due to their want to wage war upon Uppsala, the very group they allowed to leave their conglomerate of axemen tribes. They claim to have no association with the Rurics? Yet when we asked for them to abandon the Ruric name, they denied our terms once more, clearly their association with the Ruric name is real, they share the blood of all Rurics, and show the clear lack of honour that the founder of their house had shown to the dwarves in Avar.

For the Norlanders to claim they wish to fight the undead is folly, long has there been an undead threat beneath their city, and long have they let it sit idle without purge, allowing its power to grow and fester like a parasite, much like themselves. The dwarves have fought alongside the Westerlands on countless occasions, as the late King Caius showed, not once have we ever, whilst fighting the forces of Mordring, seen a Norlander fight against the undead, their baseless claims of a heroic want to purge the undead is nothing more than an empty lie, for even during this war have the dwarves fought the undead. Even our own borders were attacked by cultists of undead nature, and together we defeated the scourge and sent them to the lowest depths of Vuur’Door. Whilst the dwarves boast numerous dwarves and dwarven allies who are among the ranks of the Ascended, whilst we even house the Ascended within our lands, in order to maximize our efforts against the forces of evil.

But alas, when the day comes for us to destroy the Norlandic barbarians, and rid the world of their kind once and for all, in order to see a better Axios, we shall do so with due haste. Our siege of the Krag will not release the undead from their depths, we’ll make sure when we fire our rune cannons at their petty barricades amongst their island of sin, that we’ll aim for the walls.

No matter what the Norlanders say, no matter their petty attempts at dissent or propaganda, we shall prevail. Justice shall prevail for all dwarves, and all those who have been wronged at the hands of Norlandic treachery. So that we can put our full attention to the conflict in the west and the north, with those who are neither living, nor dead.

Thond Doomforged raises his maul to the sky, roaring out, followed by a few Doomforged soldiers with him.

"Deh Ag'Karak Stands wit' deir King! Let deir axes shatter against our shields and deir bones shatter against our steel!"

"Who are you" Bruce Hornigold wonders as he eats pancakes with his good friend Lothar.
