The Beckoning of Lotharingia

[!] Across the lands, a number of mounted men herald the coming of an event in Lotharingia, entailing much more than one could hear in casual passing. To those who took a missive or listened closely, they would come to know the following, [!]

 

 

A good and pious bloke bemoans the now peaceful yet treacherous terrain between the mountains to Mardon, 1607.

Oh lo, Lotharingia brings about both a spectacle and celebration for thee!

 

Many years in which the Heartlanders of the proud south have been able to tend to their own business has recently found violent interruption, the very foundations of the state shivering from the cold of death. No longer will this be the case though, as we coronate our new King and welcome back the traditions that had brought both renown and respect to the d’Amaury name.

 

To celebrate this, we will feast and behold a play as we do so, with any and all guests welcome to come and partake!

 

From there, the stage will be set for all bannerlords who wish to swear fealty before King Odo d’Amaury. All men who feel they bear in their bodies the spirit of chivalry, who bear the weight of a heavy Canon heart, and who in every fiber within themselves can temper their ambitions to be righteous. Come before King Odo and swear to him, and find yourself soon with the legitimacy in which only a Lotharingian lord may provide.

 

In Kaedreni fashion though, no lord may send a declaration of fealty in their own stead; if you cannot look your liege in his eyes as you swear to him, you are either too timid or too wicked to serve outside of your own home. The pledge to service will be the same for each bannerlord, and within the year, it will be the will of the Administration of Lotharingia that among them the lands of our people be protected by each for noble privileges and patronage.

 

We will proceed thereon with a dance to see the food not contribute to gluttonous guts, under the beautiful light of a man burning for his treachery, showing the prosperity we will find in destroying the evils of this land!

[!] Couriers would come to the courts of every sovereign nation across the Isles of Axios. Leaders would be advised to allow the Administration of Lotharingia to know if there are to send a delegation, so appropriate planning can be done concerning the nature of relations abroad. [!]
