Character’s age: 48

Biography: {Ages 7-14} When he was just a small child, Elwin always looked up to his elder brother Folduin like a hero. He even started enchanting, just because Folduin introduced it to him. One day, though, things took a turn for the worse. Folduin thought it would be a good idea to make fun of an Orc, or so Elwin was told. His death's circumstances were quite mysterious, though it wasn't considered important enough to be looked into further than "an Orc did it". Before the murder, Elwin actually looked up to Orcs as he thought they had a more realistic view than most elves. Ever since that day, though, he'd try his best to avenge his brother in his own way by tricking any Orc he could get his hands on. He found that he actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Eventually this habit grew into tricking anyone he could, and even making profit off of it. At one point, he even tried pick-pocketing in Courland for reasons that still escape him. He was caught and arrested, and would spend quite a few years there.

 

{Age 34} Recently released, Elwin was now free to do what he wanted, only... What did he want? He thought long and hard. All he thought about behind bars was getting out, but didn't actually know where to go once he actually did get out. Then he thought further, to the start of all this. Folduin... Enchanting... Magic! He decided to start studying that, if only to have a purpose. He started to read books about something called the "Void". One line in particular truly peaked his interest, "The Void is nothing, yet everything. Like our imagination, it may be dull and empty; or it can be full and colorful". He secluded himself in pursuit of knowledge. That, combined with years locked away, makes him anti-social and weird, yet intelligent.

 

{Age 48} Elwin travels to the Orcish capital city of San'Torr to get over his intolerance for the Orcs, and even to some avail. Nowadays, he considers Orcs to be equal to Humans, but still below him.

Personality Traits: Blunt, Disobedient, Dishonest, Intelligent, Logical, Intolerant

Ambitions: To be the best enchanter in Haelun'or, so that he may honor his brother's memory and perhaps make a career out of it. Write his own books about Magic, so that he may be recognized in the Magic community. Perhaps make his own kind of magic, because of his appreciation for it. Mostly, he would like to be at peace with himself. Then again, he has a long life ahead of him.

Strengths/Talents: Writing, because he wants to make his own books on Magic. The art of enchantment, since he started at a young age and still studies it today. Persuasive, which you'd expect from a swindler such as himself. Perceptive, especially with people through body language. Then again, who wouldn't start paying attention to the little things when they're stuck in a cell all day and night for years? Intelligent (which can be expected from high elves), because of a fair bit of research in pursuit of higher knowledge.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Often hard to work with, due to his trust issues. Especially bad with Dwarves. Untrustworthy, as he's always trying to trick and mess with people. Often times  very unempathetic, perhaps it's just High Elf nature. Spacey (meaning he zones out a lot), and very arrogant, to the point of being outright rude. Fighting, because he could barely hold his own in a fight, even with a Halfling.

Appearance: Messy silver hair, Purple eyes, Pale skin, and Noble-ish clothes.
