As Yemekar’s Pick of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, sanctioned by the Grand King himself Bastion Ireheart the Legendary, I hereby instate the mining guild directly under control of the Yemekar’s Pick.

 

 

~The Mining Guild~

Opening a Mining guild for the use of dwedmar and loyal miners alike will allow prestigious workers to shine above the rest, claiming respect from their fellow Guild members as hard working role models, all while promoting friendly competition and contributing highly to the progression of the Grand Kingdom, a truly valiant effort indeed.

 

~Grand Kingdom Miners~

As an official miner of Kal’Omith you will be granted unlimited access to the mines, giving a certain portion of your findings to the Grand Kingdom per week, in addition miners will be awarded based on their efforts shall they wish to further contribute to the kingdom. All official miners hold the right to retain minerals mined after meeting the required annual quota. Note that failure to meet the requirements set by the guild will result in termination of membership, if required commitment can be shown in future a second chance will be given and membership will be reinstated. Continuation of said commitment over a period of time will result in the member's record being wiped, while a repeated drop in work rate will be met with termination of membership and a blacklist from the guild.

 

Soon the grand kingdom mine will be locked down requiring either the status of an official miner of Kal’Omith or a fee for individual entry into the mines. Access to the mines shall be granted by all deemed worthy and loyal to the kingdom having either joined the Mining guild or paid the entry fee no matter their origin, those holding keys to grant access are myself and the Grand King himself.

 

For any dwedmar seeking to aid the Grand Kingdom in a higher position of management of the Mining guild should contact myself to prove their worth. All higher ranks will be required to lead by example, displaying nothing but the highest of skill in mining to even be considered for a position in management.

 

 

 

The positions listed will be kept up to date so if a position of interest to you is free, either contact myself or a higher member of the guild if applicable and your name shall be written down as a potential candidate.

 

~Ranks~

 

Yemekar’s Pick

The head of all workforces within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, he is in charge of the Forgemaster and the Master Engineer, whilst also directly leading the Mining Guild. The Yemekar’s Pick is skilled in all manners of work and their word is law. The Yemekar’s Pick ensures all guilds are running smoothly and quotas are being met. This position can only be attained by direct appointment from the Grand King.

Kronok Mugdorin (Master Miner)

These members will serve as the highest ranks within the mining guild, they will manage general guild matters with my blessing and report to me with general updates and serious matters, orders given by the Yemekar’s Pick are to be followed without hesitation within reason. In most cases only one master will be assigned for the guild, though if deemed necessary further shall be appointed.

 Thorok Mugdorin (Veteran Miner)

The rank of Veteran shall be given to those that have gone above and beyond within the guild, showing their commitment and work rate towered above all but masters within the guild. These members are to be treated with the utmost of respect and serve as role models for all. They serve as stand ins for general matters should the Yemekar’s Pick or Master’s be preoccupied, whilst also serving as the primary teachers in many cases. This rank will be given to more than just one member of each guild if members meet the high standards required for the position.

Mugdorin (Miner)

The rank of miner is given to those who have proven their dedication to their guild over a long period of time and have upheld a higher standard of work rate than the basic member. They are the bulk base of members of the guild as it is the standard rank, whilst having proved their dedication they are not ready to reach the heights of a veteran miner.

Khorok Mugdorin (Coal Miner)

This is the basic rank for all members of their respective guild and while this rank is held by many beginners it is a prestigious rank in its own right as the quality of craft needed at entry level of the Guilds of Kal’Omith pale in comparison to most veteran tiered miners or smiths of other races. However coal miners still have much to learn in the ways of dwarven mining.

Quota’s:

To stay within the Mining guild and have unlimited access to the dwarven mines, you must fulfill an annual quota which will be collected every Sunday. Based on your rank and your skill you will be given a certain quota to meet, fulfillment of this quota will earn you a week’s pay in minas dependant on your rank. If you fail to fulfill your quota two weeks in a row you will be removed from the guild and have your access to the mines revoked.
