A letter is sent to multiple leaders involved in the crisis. It reads:

 

To my friends of all creeds and races.

 

This is not the way for you all to act in the face of differing opinions and distasteful facts. The point of the Leaflet was not to expose some Ascended conspiracy but to voice concerns. All habits and policies can be overturned with enough force and backing from the people who are affected by them. Paladins, lower your swords and Clerics calm your holy Light. The nations of ‘ame and dwarves should not war over factions having differences.

 

While I remain by my decision to voice these concerns and expose these truths to the people of this land I must also ask that you not destroy one another in search of “peace”. Peace will not be gained this way. I will go under no nation or group’s protection other than my own. Hunt me if you would like but I will defend myself solely. Cease this outrage and hatred for one another and address the problems one-to-one. I wish you all luck in your (hopeful) civil debates.

"Sweetheart, if you honestly didn't want to make a big deal over this, then you should have voiced your concerns to a few individuals in a private, calm setting rather than making a giant public announcement to the entirety of the population. These are the sorts of matters that require respect, patience, and a lot of deep thinking on the parts of individuals who don't have their entire factions breathing down their necks all at once because they're present, too. If matters like this aren't handled with such care and respect for both sides, this happens.

People in large crowds become confused and angry easily and often look for the quickest route to what they feel is the best solution, which is often loud and rash. This is natural, and works for some things, but not this ... I know this is not what you wanted, but I doubt this will end peacefully until either you do something more than write letters about how you didn't want this, or the paladins have a change of heart. I hope for the best."
