Local Dwarf Trapped in Sand

Local dwarf, Hogarth Irongut, was trapped in sand today after a being attacked by dwarves throwing sand. Hogarth sleeping was unable to defend himself. He nearly suffocated and was rushed to the local medics in Tal’Azmar. DNN hopes for Hogarth’s quick recovery.

 

 

Clan Tournament Held

Earlier this week a clan tournament was held in Tal’Azmar. Clans Irongut, Frostbeard, Grandaxe, and Hammerfist all attend the event organized by Hogarth Irongut. The four clans fought as hard as they could in the arena but Clan Irongut would come in last place. Clan Grandaxe had fought as a rag tag bunch as they came as a late entry, they came in third. Clan Hammerfist had beaten Clans Irongut and Grandaxe but could not beat Clan Frostbeard, Hammerfist came in second. Clan Frostbeard had beaten all others and came in first place winning the prize of 3,000 minas and diamond armor.

 

Senate Meeting Held

A senate meeting was held in Tal’Azmar yesterday. Grand King Gror Ireheart states that this was one of the most successful meetings held in a while. Among the votes that were held, a structural alteration to the articles was passed. DNN thanks the senate for allowing the DNN reporters into the meeting.

 

Grand King Married

Just moments ago our Grand King was married to Rosa of House Romstun. The Grand King wished to forge an alliance with the House. The Grand King told a DNN reporter that he was excited to get married and wishes for a happy future for himself and the kingdom.

All of a sudden he spurts out one of the most beautiful cascades of coffee the world has ever seen.

Throri "Warmheart" Frostbeard would grin as he heard that the Frostbeards won the tournament but would spit out his ale as he heard that the grand king married an elf

Grand King Gror Ireheart wonders why everyone keeps saying Elf when he in fact married a human. Human + Dwarf = Halfling, not disgraceful. The King would also question why Frostbeards are calling him a dirty bastard? Treason????

Grand Dwarf Barradin Tungdilson of the Frostbeard clan apologies dearly for his error, but states that humans are just as bad and that our Grand king clearly doesn't know Biology if he thinks halflings are made that way!

 

Barradin would then chuckle slightly at the paranoid Grand Kings question and answer that he is indeed a dirty bastard for marrying a human, but that is a dwarven feeling not a Frostbeard feeling.

Grand King Gror Ireheart does not plan on having children as he already has a few from his deceased dwarven wife.

Lodbairn recognizes the vast wealth of Grorlings already possessed by the Grand Kingdom, and yields that if the Grand King wishes to diddle a young human maid, he may diddle her rightly.
