A Relocation of Ideologies

The Principality of Veris has been plagued with individuals attempting to redesign the path which The Verisi follows, motioning for evil, for war, and for the death of the very Principality which harbored them. The Verisi acknowledges these attributes which it adopted and brings forth an international apology to the realm of descendants for its faults and lack of proper leadership throughout the course of such diplomatic betrayal.

With this troubling time, The Principality of Veris has decided to direct its attention of apology to the befriended Nations, cliques, and individuals of the Verisi, declaring their peace, love, and ideology of prosperity once more, with full faith that this will restore the diplomatic relations with Veris and its neighbors, currently friendly, neutral, and aggressive.

Upon steps towards the eventual success of Veris, The High Prince and his adjoining council of advisory members have declared the original location for the capital unfit for proper activity and populace, as it has transformed from a community of acceptance to that of the followers of the undead and its order. The Holy League has responded to this with haste and with strength and the Verisi, in a time of dire need-- Turned them away out of fear for its safety, and its people due to allegations brought forth to the specific order of the Ascended. Many moons have passed, and many thoughts have processed through the council’s collective mind to come to the conclusion that The Holy League should be allowed to freely roam and patrol the streets of any Verisian settlement, binding that specific discussions correspond to a written pact in assisting with the removal of those deemed violent, likewise with beings whom of which have the realms worst interests in mind. On behalf of Veris, we hope that to reassemble the order which the Ascended, Clerics, and Paladins offered in our time of need, and for any future dilemma in which Veris faces.

Along the path, the Verisi was offered a position within a Coalition bound with The War Nation of Krugmar, The Princedom of Fenn, The Grand Kingdom of Urguan, The Kingdom of Norland, attached with a collective grouping known as The Kingdom of Santegia. Concluding the war against the rogue Orenian Empire, The Principality of Veris stepped away from its brothers worries. A mistake which is not forgotten among the brotherhood and those who followed its principle to war. Specific members of the council swayed an ideology of international freedom through complete neutrality among any and all whom do not qualm against Veris, removing any acts of diplomacy brought forth prior to such document. The High Prince, Kalalian Vortral validated this with a written statement of such, and of this document sent to all Nation Leaders and major settlements to read aloud, the time of cowardice has dried. The minds of Veris’ leadership have cleared and mended themselves, and we wish to see our diplomacy heal as well.

The Principality of Veris extends its apologies further, to any and all that it has wronged by villainous citizens, undead supporters and sympathisers, and its confused and dazed leadership. Throughout this trial, a full fledged council has been ordered into effect, balancing the decision and supporting itself with the outlash against true prosperity throughout the realm of Axios. These are times which the Verisi should be ashamed of, however not to be forgotten, as it is knowledge gathered to mend its ways, and realign its goals with that of others; It’s true supporters and friends.

With an open apology coupled by a written statement of accountability, The Principality of Veris opens an era of possibility through its true goal: Progression. The Capital of Veris, being plagued with cultists, undead members and supporters and true evilness has been deemed completely unfit and unlivable. The result of this adjoins to an idea of “new beginnings”, and a replacement capital, known as Cythral has begun construction on the island of Makukane, allowed by its inhabitants whom stand loyal to the Verisi.

This island and its construction will feature buildings centralized to the activity of its citizens and travelers, making for a destination optimal to the descendants of the realm, and easily defendable to ensure the safety of its citizens. This capital is to serve as a prosperous step forward in the path which Kalalian Vortral fled to, away from the corrupt ideologies of centralized government, and tyrannical leadership. The concept of free housing with minimal taxation continues, generating workforce positions while drafting construction for an active military to help the Verisi’s brothers and sisters against those who wish to destroy the realm, each other, and themselves.

The Principality of Veris has heard the cry of its citizens, dwelling on a more suitable standpoint within its respectable realm, and therefore, by the architectural skill possessed by Kalalian Vortral, a home to be proud of has been lifted from the fertile soil below, allowing any and all whom are peaceful descendants of the realm to roam freely within its walls, inviting feasts, festivals, debates, and activities to spur through its gates with the hope that progression swiftly progresses through the minds of those who step off of the boat, and walk through the iron gates.

With the news of such events, The Principality of Veris will be offering every Nation of friendship, and main settlements within and without nations invitations to a festival of new beginnings, and to everlasting bonds which will not go mistaken again.

The extended letter would be signed by Kalalian Vortral, High Prince of the Principality of Veris

Csaba gets a migraine trying to consider the logistics of moving an entire city worth of people onto a tiny island with no lumber, stone, or any worthwhile natural resources.

Ella walks out onto the deck of a supply ship, one of many, as they make yet another trip to Cythral. The elfess turns to a sailor who had followed her up from the cargo hold and happily chats with him of how well construction is going. She doesn't seem at all phased that the sailor shows none of her enthusiasm or really any sort of reaction other than the occasional nod.

"Nobody can stop the purge!" shouts aloud Toren, clearly gotten a taste from the Druidic Inquisition and wanting more.

A figure draped in roughspun  robes sits atop the rooftops of Old Veris. A single, skeletal hand reaches from the shroud, adjusting the brim of an absurdly large hat.

"Rot and ruin..." the hobbit-shape curses under its breath, "It's incredible what a ghoul with a crossbow can accomplish..."
