Notice of Caerme'onn Anointment

In order for a mali to become a Caerme’onn you must have completed all four trials and received proper anointment by a seed Elder. Being born or married into the family does not automatically bestow the name to you, as it has always been given through valour and not inheritance.

Any Caerme'onns who have not taken the trials are urged to revert to the true name for un anointed Caerme’onns. These include members through marriage, birth, adoption etc. These mali shall be referred to as Camoryn until they have completed their trials.

The trials can be held by any of the seed Elders listed below:

Valor Caerme’onn

Abelas Caerme’onn

Artimec Caerme’onn

The list of anointed Caerme’onn follows:

Mare Caerme’onn

Faeinn Caerme’onn

Ariadni Caerme'onn

Sirari Caerme'onn

The list of unanointed Camoryn follow:

Saria Camoryn

Leoris Camoryn

(No Caerme’onns were missed if you are not listed you are a Camoryn.)

A Camoryn cannot take their trials until they are 40 years of age. These trails are dangerous, stressful and require a lot of strength knowledge and commitment. It's of this we have come to the agreement a young ame could not easily pass them, nor is it safe.

As it stands and as it will stay, any ame who is seedless or has not taken the oath can request the trials from a seed Elder and should they passed will be recognised as a fully fledged Caerme'onn.

Laethis Ihelia chuckles as he reads over the notice. "Or become an Ihelia. Way easier, much better."

"Why would you want to be related to Artimec?" Questions Steven, peering down to the hand that had once been removed by that very same man.

Valor smirks happily at the warm reception.

Elawynn blinks. She had taken the trials several years ago and is even tattoo'd now by her grandfather. She tilts her head very confused as to how she was removed from her family without anyone telling her.

Valor reminds all Camoryn members that they are part of the seed only trialed therefore not worthy of the full name yet.

Sirari Caerme'onn is clearly puzzled by this announcement, having completed her trials long ago. "How bizarre. I have held this name for half a century and am now told it's not my own-- this must be a mistake!" The elvess exclaimed her utter disapproval with a scowl.

"Apologies, you'd think Artimec would tell the person in charge of Caerme'onn trials who has taken them." He would sigh. "Let me fix that for you."

"Bah, our ancestors didnt write things down, I don't see why I should. Let the ilmyumier upon the flesh of our kin determine whether or not they are legitimate members of our seed. If they bare the red horns, they are one of us." Artimec said with a scowl somewhere away from the lights of civilization.

Her demeanor changed at this, the woman's grimacing features quickly melting into a satiated smirk. "Ahernan then."

Aenor idly meanders on by, his eyes.. shifty as he murmurs, masked by a cough "Calithil Seed best Seed." The High Prince then scurries away!

Elawynn is not a Camoryn, never was. She stares at the sign and sighs. "I have been a Caerme'onn since before I became a cleric. I have been given the tattoos to symbolize my addition to the family and even have the keys to the manor. I was given my own home outside the city. This must be a mistake. I should speak to Mar'maln about this."

Saria continues to swear at this so called 'non-officiality' of her membership into the family, "I could have sworn patricide to protect Faeinn was my trial."

Moved to The Great Library. It shall be sorted into the appropriate category shortly.

If you feel this is a mistake, please contact myself or any FM and we'll restore it.
