The Armor Arm Tavern & Casino

In the tavern of Linandria, work is being done. The loud clangor of carpenters, builders, furniture moving, barrels of alcohol rolling, and a druid at work emits from the tavern early one morning. Melgarth Taliiyh Torena stands outside of the tavern, looking up at it with a proud smile upon his face, watching the tavern become something he could be proud of. He then sets to work himself, aiding the construction crews with putting in the flooring and moving the furniture around. At last, he had a tavern, one he could be proud of and one he could pour his energy into. At last he had something he could call his own.

Melgarth sets about working in the tavern, writing a small employee manual and copying it, posting up signs to indicate that the tavern is hiring, forging armored-arms and painting them over for the employees. Melethre, the Magpie Druid, works hard as she brews the drinks and experiments with spiced rums, pale ales, mulled wines, and all other sorts of drinks. The Armor Arm Tavern and Casinos was then born, the brainchild of both Melethre and Melgarth.

We're hiring!

The parchment tacked outside of the tavern reads, accompanied with a long list of roles that need filling and positions that are in need of filling. It reads:

"The Armor Arm Tavern is hiring.  We have numerous roles that must be filled, namely those are:

Waiter/Barkeep

Waiters and barkeeps get 25% of everything they earn, with the other 75% going to Melgarth, who manages the finances and employees of the Tavern. (50% of it goes to the government, and Melgarth only gets 25% to pay for Tavern supplies, supplies, pay the wages of other employees, et cetera.) All tips they receive are excluded from this rule, and go directly to the waiters/barkeeps. All waiters/barkeeps must follow the rules in the employee manual, which you will receive upon being hired. Waiters are to go to those seated and ask them what they'd like, barkeeps are to serve drinks and food to those at the bar. Patrons must pay before they receive anything: Don't move a muscle until they give you the quantity of mina due. Barkeeps and waiters are to show that they have made a minimum of 50 mina weekly (37.5 sent to Melgarth at the end of an elven fiscal week. ((Sunday)) )

Chef

Chefs cook the food for the tavern and also function as a waiter when they are not actively cooking. Waiters and barkeeps are to report to the chef upon receiving an order from a patron that involves food. Drinks are on tap and thus this isn't required. Chefs receive 25% of what they make as a waiter and get a paycheck of 25 mina at the end of the fiscal elven week. (Sunday.)

Supplier

Suppliers are technically separate entities from the tavern. They supply the tavern with the materials necessary to make drinks, cook, et cetera. At the end of the fiscal elven week (on a Sunday) they are to deliver their products and receive 30 mina per crate ((stack of 64)) of materials provided. Materials can include anything from fish, to crops, to meat. Alechemist's fuel suppliers are paid 50 per crate (to be used for brewing drinks.)

Thanhic Icebox Required!

While this isn't quite a job position, if any tinkers could create four Thanhic Iceboxes for the tavern, they will be paid a sum of 200 mina for their services. This will be crossed out when the Thanhic Iceboxes are recieved.

As a baseline, all employees will either receive money or give their profits through the banking service to Melgarth's bank account at the end of the elven fiscal week (Sunday). If an employee plans on quitting, are fired, or are retiring, they are to give their 75% to Melgarth the day of their firing/retiring/quitting. 50% of everything you make goes to the Dominion, so remember that you are contributing to your nation as you work! Employees are to wear  an armored arm, which is to be used as the manual suggests. Fill out an application form, a stack of which are placed in a box just below this piece of parchment, if one wishes to be employed.

Melgarth reads over the application of his 'Annil with a degree of intrigue before rapidly penning a bird to him, the font rigid and plain.

"Sir, wouldn't your smithing be more useful in supplying the Sirame with arms and armor? I'm only an amateur smith and yet I find myself smithing my own arms and armor (adequate, like everything else). Also, I'd like to note that though you are my Annil, the tavern and the Sirame are separate entities: In the Tavern's hierarchy, I am superior to you, in the Sirame's you are to me. That is what you sign onto upon being hired. Also, a tavern rule is that the Sirame still have to pay for their drinks, and I expect you to uphold that rule yourself upon being hired.
