Elite of the elite, Honor and Duty means everything to them. In this case, their duty is to fill out the orders of the REX with utmost honor and vigilance. Their tasks range far, from merely escorting an important prisoner to harassing the Warnation’s opponents. KESHIG CODES OF HONOR Honor has always been an item of great importance to both the REX and the Urukish people, yet the KESHIG excel at this. Much akin to the old Uruks, they do not belittle themselves to fall to the levels of a petty thief nor a bandit. They are noble and filled with Valor. Honor means to act in a morally righteous manner, and a KESHIG must follow the following codes: An KESHIG shall fear the REX and yield to his order and authority. To battle for the welfare of the Nation. To not praise those who act in a deceitful or dishonorable manner. To always fight with Honor on his side. To act in a morally right manner. To never speak lies nor act to trick others. To never to refuse a challenge from an equal. To never turn a back to your foe. (Fight to your end.) PURPOSE OF A KESHIG The Purpose of a KESHIG is self-explanatory. To protect the REX and his kin. It is not uncommon to find a KESHIG wandering with his REX or carrying out his orders. Anything the REX desires in a militaristic manner will be provided to him, a KESHIG will try to fufill these wishes to the best of their abilities, it not degrading their Honor. The REX is able to order a KESHIG to fight in his place, as it would be of great dishonor if one as hosh as the REX would slaughter those below him, though the REX may fight if he wishes so. The KESHIG do not Serve the spirits, nor wargoth or anyone else, merely the REX. It is also the duty of a KESHIG to uphold and force other Uruks to uphold the laws of Krugmar, which are as follow: Kubs of KRUG will not steal or commit thievery towards other Uruks. No lying will be permitted by any Uruk. Any use of Voidal or unnatural deemed magic will be punished. Asking of tribute will be allowed towards trespassers in the Warnation. Any, and ALL forms of dishonor, will be punished severely. Disrespect towards higher Ranked Uruks will not be tolerated. REGULATIONS If any Uruk is found guilty of Thievery, [With viable proof.] They will be demoted one rank in their respective clan and given ten lashings. If said uruk is a Pug, they will be whitewashed from the Warnation. f an Uruk is found to be lying, [With viable proof.] said liar may choose from 2 punishments; Tusks are sawed off near the base/Partial removal of tongue. If an Uruk is found to be using voidal magics they will subject to immediate sacrifice to the almighty spirits. If an Uruk is found killing a visitor to the nation on sight, he/she will have a hand and foot severed. If an Uruk is found to be dishonorable, with approval of the REX, Targoth or Yazgurten, They will be demoted one rank in their respective clan and given ten lashings. If said uruk is a Pug, they will be whitewashed from the Warnation. If an uruk is disrespecting a higher rank, said Uruk may choose from 2 punishments; Tusks are sawed off near the base/Partial removal of tongue. The Keshig will move to collect scheduled tributes from tributaries. IF IT DOES COME DOWN TO KILLING AN UNARMED MAN, BEHEADING WILL BE EXECUTED AS IT IS A SWIFT AND PAINLESS DEATH. (HONOURABLE WAY OF DEATH) HONOUR IN COMBAT Honour, to do what is morally right. For centuries uruks have fought with honour, yet that tradition has been forgotten. The KESHIG stand to change this fact. When in combat, they will not strike a downed man, trick an opponent nor run from a fight. They will be trained to fight with honour and kill their opponents swiftly. HISTORY TBA RANKS AND DIVISIONS For the KESHIG, brotherhood and unity is everything. They think of the KESHIG as one hand, with each member controlling a singular finger. If they were not to work together, they would not guard their REX from the sword. Yet, for each blade there is a sharpener, and for each sword a warrior. Order and authority are to be expected. If in a matter concerning Keshig, they rank as this. ___________________________________ KESHIGBOSS The leader of the KESHIG as a whole, the KESHIGBOSS ensures that the REX’s word reaches even the lowliest of Keshig, so that he may lead them into battle succesfully. He communicates with the REX the most, yet oftenly speaks with his troops. Weaponry: Al’Ku Greatsword Long-bow Weapon of Choice Armor: KESHIGBOSS Variant of Bloodsteel (Brown and Red colours,3 Stripes.) ___________________________________ KESHIGNOB A Sergeant of the KESHIG, this Uruk commands his/her own Squad, and must lead them into battle, do regular check-ups on their gear, write reports on any happenings they witness. Weaponry: Al’ku Greatsword Long-bow Armor: Keshignob variant of Bloodsteel (Red colours, 2 Stripes.) ___________________________________ KESHIG Weaponry: Al’ku Greatsword Long-bow Armor: Keshig variant of Bloodsteel (Red colours, 1 stripe.) KESHIG INITIATE A new Keshig that is yet to prove himself. No right to any KESHIG weaponry/Armor. ___________________________________ EQUIPMENT OF THE KESHIG To protect the REX is no easy burden. Yet these valiant uruks take up the challenge. To equip an KESHIG is an act of honor, as the dresser understands he is preventing countless deaths, for if the Keshig perish, so will the REX. The Keshig are dressed in the best armor, and fight with the best weaponry. Said equipment vary from Rank to Rank, as to preserve the highest rank the longest in combat. ARMOR Sporting blood-steel armor, the Keshig are blessed by Gazigash. They are the only ones allowed to wear these cultural items. Said armor has a strap that can be pulled on which would swiftly unlatch it, enabling Keshig to unequip their armor in a fast manner. It does not help equiping it again, however. RANK: Keshigboss Colours: Any RANK: Keshignob Colours: Black RANK: KESHIG Colours: Red WEAPONRY Al’ku A formidable weapon that can be used as a War-axe, spear, sword and club. Great-sword A ceremonial sword. Long-Bow A pretty self-explanatory weapon. TONGUE Another weapon of the KESHIG, is their tongue. All KESHIG will be taught the Old Tongue, as a way of communication to prevent their enemies from understanding their plans. OOC: As LotC has a wide variety between RP and PVP, there will be 2 divisions, PVP and CRP, giving chance for PVPers and RPers to be a part of the Elite. We will be holding often PVP and CRP training sessions.
