A Letter to My Fellow Druids

A letter is pinned throughout the grove, the handwriting unrecognizable, a hasty scrawl it seems.

"My fellow brothers and sisters,

I am sure you are aware of the Aspect Stones' disappearance. Let me calm all of you by saying this, the stones were not 'stolen', they were moved in secrecy for their protection. I do not take pleasure in using such methods but my visions show the end of this land, and I do not trust anyone but myself to keep them safe. I do what I do for the Aspects, I meant no betrayal in my actions. You have my word, however much it means after this event, that the stones will be returned when safety in the new land is guaranteed. Do not focus on finding the stones. They are safe, and you must work on keeping yourselves safe and united in friendship. There are dark times ahead.

May the Aspects bless you all. I pray you will trust my judgement."

There is no recognizable name or signature.

"This is not how you go about doing things." A certain trout druid growls out.

Tailesin grumbles as she reads the note, rubbing her chin before her hand rests on the hilt of her hammer.
"Wonderful. So this person puts an anicent creature at risk just because they don't trust the ones who were looking after them to begin with. Might be best to tear these papers down before some sodding spook finds them, else we risk them trying to mess with things again."

Mossbeard made cranberry jam. While eating the jam with black porridge, he would read the note. "Hrrrrrmmmmmhmmmhh."

The former Foxglove druid sits in her little hut with a copy of the letter, the pale elfess laughing long and loudly from reading it over until a kettle's whistle interrupts her. "Oh, my tea!"

Rhova'dir screeches loudly as he slowly dies inside because there's a greedy dude around.
