_Elrith_ 4525 Share Posted October 14, 2017 Warclaim postponed 3 weeks? Why? How? When? This will be 3 weeks that this warclaim will be postponed, this is completely absurd!
drfate786 1690 Share Posted October 14, 2017 They likely canceled it to avoid what happened the last time.. That or we're going to see a repeat of what happened at the end of Vailor. Watch as they cancel warclaims for two months just like they did in Vailor, watch as everything stagnates to oblivion until the very end.

When they begin losing they cancel warclaims for two months and refuse to add any replacement to settle the conflict.
Ankalagon_ 258 Share Posted October 14, 2017 um excuse me? Of all the times I thought the staff was biased in favor of Oren (specifically the ADMINS and GMs), this is one of those truly obvious times. What is your excuse for cancelling it this time? We know Oren will do everything it can to avoid fighting the coalition cuz they are scared, but what is the excuse of the Admins and staff? *waits for years, no response* That's right, there is no reason! EndCallCaesar 484 Share Posted October 14, 2017 I really see no point in any of these constant delays, warclaims end in salt and name calling and people saying the other side cheated anyway. Nobody will ever be happy with loss, and the winners will deny everything they can (until it's forgotten) if any accusations are true. GM's can't you see there's no point to any of this? For now let's give the devs the benefit of the doubt and just assume there are kinks they have to work out. If there's no WC next week then we will assume the worst. We will seek answers, we have been fucked over too many times to sit back and play nice. 0 Upvote Yeah, if they promised us a warclaim this week then a warclaim is what we will be getting. Otherwise, I suggest you find a way to get everyone off this server. Maybe when 100 players straight up leave LoTC over this they'll begin to see reason. Maybe when their donations are being adversely affected and they need to dish out more of their own money to pay for the server they'll be more willing to fix this issue. Guest Share Posted October 14, 2017 I'm concerned about the constant cancellations myself. But, nonetheless, please don't spitball inflammatory statements that are groundless. Until we get a full scoop and know whether to be angry or not, you should not be making broad statements that may instigate some kind of awful confrontation between two large groups of players. It's unfair to both sides to so readily conflict with each other about an issue that could just as easily be due to a staff side mistake than any actual conspiracy. Thanks for your time, I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Guest Share Posted October 14, 2017 After directing consulting with Administrator 501warhead the scenario is as following; the skirmish for Kalomith is using Lucas's fort which is surrounded by no less than four Dwarven settlements on all sides. He felt this was improper given the current war rules, so he implemented a rule so that Lucas' garrison could be manned only by 50 people for he sake of fairness for the other party. This drew negative attention so 501 provided alternatives such as fighting in another skirmish or breaking through the naval fleet or Arcadia to continue and reinforce Lucas's garrison. He woke up to more controversy so he offered that the attacking force could be bolstered by as many men as they wanted as long as they couldn't bring siege equipment, given that there was none at the fort. The Coalition found these terms favorable since they got an uncapped army, and Oren and Urguan did not. The defenders called for a delay and the War Team also called for a delay given the disagreements with how it should proceed -- namely with the validity casus belli and changes in terms -- this is not uncommon, it is a recurring problem with every war system we've had for the past three years. So two hours before the warclaim it was postponed while the rallies weren't finished. As it stands, both sides of the warclaim resent this decision, the warclaim will be stalled a week while the Game Mods redicusses the terms. That is the full scoop at the moment. I will be leaving this thread open for the time being and amending this statement as more info comes out as the situation unfolds. I understand lots of people are upset, but I advise that you all keep any further statements objective and to the point while displaying the fair amount of constructive criticism. Archbishop 1784 Share Posted October 14, 2017 If a fort is completely surrounded why does Lucas have any ground to even deny that term... how is he meant to get several armies over mountains and through dwarves land to two force him in time, he's completely surrounded and along, as literally nobody could live there anyway as there's no farms to make food as he's surrounded and no shelter. It's an empty settlement with like 5 frostbeards in it as the rest are in Jornheim. Unless of course they wanna join Lucas and not be able to defend Jornheim as there's no way to get back. InfamousGerman 1553 Share Posted October 14, 2017 if you're going to say its surrounded, arcadia doesn't count since its ******* floating 25 miles above the ground, if you want to contest supply lines from there then you're going to have to come down
