Haelun'or Winery

“Now that the city has been rebuilt, and is coming back to life we are proud to present the Haelun’or Winery. Primarily a producer of wines for the city’s own consumption, to cater to the finer needs of the mali’thill.”

Grape varieties:
Valmuel’feta (Cold purple) - A deep purple grape, best known for its rich taste and distinct color. Valmuel’feta is mainly grown in colder mountainous terrain, preferring a harsher and thus relatively unchallenged environment to grow. It is an early grape, adapted to be fully grown before winter cold may set in. It is best doing temperate years, where the winter cold has left early, giving the grape a head start in maturing.

Len’tuveh (Soft song) - A clear green grape, generally known for its light and soft taste. Len’tuveh is a hard grape to grow, requiring a rich and fertile soil if not to produce small and sour grapes unsuitable to high class wines. The grape matures late during the summer, which only grows the longer you leave it on the vines. It prefers long summers, leaving it to sweeten for the longest possible period of time.

Wines:
Ambers:

Akal’suikaonn (Golden sweet): A sweet golden/amber wine, perfect for desserts or leisurely consumption. The wine is produced from the Len’tuveh grape, aged in jungle wood barrels to ensure a well rounded and soft finish to the wine’s taste.

Reds:
Haelun’or miruel (Haelun’or red): A deep purple wine with a strong taste, best suited to be enjoyed alone or with roasted foods or rich meats. The wine is produced from the Valmuel’feta grape, aged in dark oak barrels to add to its rich taste.

Indorir miruel (Scholar red): A pale ruby colored wine, special for the fact that it is alcohol free, making it excellent for consumption during scholarly work. The wine is made from the Valmuel’feta grape, aged in regular oak barrels to best retain the rich taste of the grape after the removal of the alcohol.

Whites:
Haelun’or ibar (Haelun’or white): A soft white wine of a pale yellow color, perfect for spicy cuisine, fish, and chicken. The wine is produced from the Len’tuveh grape, aged in birch barrels to added to the softness of the wine.

Maheral’s reserve: A white wine of a deep yellow color, the pride of the Haelun’or winery, if you have access to this wine you know how to drink it and what is suits best. To avoid rivals attempting to copy the wine, all information shall remain with the head vintner of the winery.

"The Kelly Vintage is a marvel compared to this piss! I would rather serve such hogwash to my dogs than let a guest drink that, hm."

The aspiring winemaker complains to himself, all while attempting to acquire a vineyard himself.

"Good, wine. Where at?" says Varen'thal, itching to get a glass of wine.
