The Patriarch of the clan had been bedridden with fever little over a fortnight, his nephew Conall had loyally stayed by his side with his spouse, since he recieved the news of his uncle's health deteriorating. He had started getting violent fits of coughing during the colder nights of the winter. He'd grip his nephew's hand tightly, the strength of the old man still visible in his eyes. Conall rested his head on the forehead of the patriarch. Donn would let out a fit of coughing as he turned to the side, still holding Conall's hand tightly. He'd finally turn his gaze back upon his young nephew, a serious look on his aging face. "Lead the Clan well." He would grip his nephew's hand tightly and urging him to come closer. Conall would put his ear to his his uncle's mouth. "And get yourself a woman to produce an heir." He'd crack a faint smile, yet his eyes remaining serious. He'd sigh and lay back on the bed with his head, letting his hand slip out of Conall's hand, Conall leaned down to give the old patriarch a long kiss on his forehead, staying with him until he would pass on to the beyond. "May we meet again, uncle." He sat upright, looking down at the old patriarch's still body. Shutting the old man's eyelids, Looking up to his spouse with a sigh. "I must inform the clans." Conall looked up at his spouse with a faint smile. "We should orchestrate the funeral soon..." He'd stand up, hugging her tightly.
