An Invitation

 

 

Creatures of horrendous form flew through the towns and cities of Atlas, their bodies warped and varied, small and incomprehensible. Yet in all their myriad designs, they shared a commonality; a message. The papers held within their gnarled hands and disease ridden fingers would descend into the chimneys of those familiar with Voidal Magics, the text a mixture of common and some other language.

 

Look, I need refuge.

Derrick Bell grunts as his knife misses the creature, it drops the paper as it's pathetic visage sulks away. "Disgusting..." He'd take the paper up in his hand, scanning the contents of the note as he'd grumble. "Never a dull moment in Atlas, is there."

Carsandra get's the letter while sitting in Sutica with her new friend. She frowns, "Yeah...maybe not following weird creatures into maybe certain death would be wise." She tucked the note away.

"An interesting note..." Valdun said upon recieving it from his burned out fireplace, his eyes appeared blank as they rushed through the odd contents of the page "But am I that power hungry...  to accept something so peculiar?"

Valor scoffs lightly as his blade barely misses the creature. He'd stop for a moment to read the note it left behind "More.. more power?" His heartbeat would pick up as he sat there in a calm silence, thinking of what to do.
