Auriel_ 652 Share Posted August 14, 2018 a couple questions that will answer this for me was it **** rp as usual with bandits, do you like the character; if so, put a quarter in and continue if you don't like the character, or you've finished their storyline, or they simply aren't fulfilling enough; press f for respects

However, I usually PK to pretty low-quality RP anyways, so it's nothing out of the ordinary to me. As far as Daisy's character goes, she still has a good bit of development to go and I enjoy playing her, yet I feel like I may have gone a bit too dark and dramatic with her, to the point where she doesn't seem all that halfling-like anymore. Vindicant 642 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Sounds like you want to get out of the hole the character is in. Perhaps it is best you simply shelve her for a time, and play a new halfling to see how you feel and if you get 'homesick' for the character. You can write it off as Daisy getting wanderlust and heading to Aeldin or the like while you get back to the 'classique' halfling experience. Afterwards, you'd be able to figure out if you really wanted to play her or not simply based on how you feel about not playing her.
Vaynth 3005 Share Posted August 14, 2018 If you still enjoy playing her, don't pk. not every character has to follow the norm of their race.

Then just shelve her untill you wanna RP them. Nobody PKs because of rando bandits, that kinda RP doesn't give anything back to you. It doesn't add to her story. Reserve PKing for significant plot things

I know that not every character has to follow the norms of the race, but I prefer to play halflings who follow the norms
Auriel_ 652 Share Posted August 14, 2018 from what I read here there is a level of passion don't pk
Vaynth 3005 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Yeah, I completely get what you mean. What others have said might be the best option. Shelve her for now, see if you still want to play her later down the line.

JokerLow 1317 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Personally i dont think you should pk...if you love the playerbase of halflings and enjoy rping with them, you shouldnt pk over 0 rp since you instantly /d20... Its just my opinion.
NotEvilAtAll 10906 Author Share Posted August 14, 2018 If you want to see me banned for escaping RP like that I'd just accept it, I did wrong there. I really should not have just /d20'd and left, but I did so anyways because I don't usually enjoy getting slaughtered on my halfling.
JokerLow 1317 Share Posted August 14, 2018 I dont want you banned at all, admins/gms dont ban him. I just want you to realise that you shouldnt pk over such a little thing. Halflings are good i think if you realise in time how to play. If you really want to pk im suggesting you becoming a dwarf, but my last requests are: 1.Think again about PK. 2.Admins/Gms dont ban him.
Lirro 80 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Next time just run. I've escaped death countless times. Like that one time where the druids tried to sacrifice me to their dark lord Minerva for their black magic voodoo bs. They dont call me "the runner" for no reason
