Isn't that against the rules though? If someone wants to engage in RP with you, you are obliged to do so. This is a roleplaying server after all, it's not like you're supposed to be able to "opt out" of roleplay ever.

Well irp you can run, atleast could ve tried. But from what I know running in roleplay allows the enemy to engage, and you are not allowed to hit back

If it's IRP running, I'd be screwed. Halflings can only really beat bigger races in a short sprint, not so much a long-distance chase.

 

If it's OOC running after RP has been called, I'd probably get overwhelmed with guilt and beg the staff to ban me for a few months like I did last time.

 

I really should've just let you guys kill me, it would've been better that way.

If someone halts you, and you keep running they can down you and you are forced to continue rp. But if yo manage to run you are ok

I don't believe in escaping RP like that and getting away scratch-free. If I really wanted to escape the RP, I'd just /damage 20 and give the bandits what they wanted, since that is basically conceding defeat (It's still kinda against the rules though :/).

 

If I were staff, I'd get rid of that rule.

The PK of your character should really be up to you, but if you are making such a thread it appears you are uninterested in such character so perhaps it would not affect how you feel regardless. 

 

When I PK'd my first character I was really disappointed in the roleplay I received after that. I made my main character now on a whim and really disliked her for a long time. It actually took until I found a new group to roleplay with did I begin to enjoy her because I was able to create her all over again along with that experience. 

 

Suggestion is to stick it out and find a new group. Or create a new character and find a new group. You need to create a new experience for you to enjoy and you won't find that trying to do the same thing with a new character.

Would you PK your child as it began walking on its own two feet?
Would you PK her when she gets a nuisance sometimes?
Would you really just throw a character away like that… ?
